KINGDOM of GOD

 KINGDOM OF GOD

Been musing on the Kingdom for a long time. Have begun to remind myself, whenever my imp plants negative thoughts, that I am living in the Kingdom.

Almost Greek: [Words in italics are translator’s additions.]

1st Corinthians 4.18: While I wasn’t expected to be coming toward you now, some were puffed up. But shortly I will come to you (if the Kurios thelese [determines, chooses, decides, decrees]) and I won’t know the logos [word] of those having been puffed up, conversely, the [their] dunamei [forces, powers, works of power]. For the Kingdom of Theos not consists in logos, conversely, in dunamei. What do you want? that I come to you with a stick or in agape [unconditional love] and a pneuma [breath, spirit] of gentleness?

Colossians 1.9: Via this [From the day we heard], we also don’t pause [stop] proseuchomenoi [humbly begging of God, praying] to Theos over you and asking that you be made replete [complete] in recognition of His thelematos in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. And that you be made to walk appropriately of the Kuriou [Lord, Master], compliant to all in every good work; that you are being fertile and growing into the recognition of Theos in all dunamei, being empowered [enabled] down [according] to the great vigor of His glory to all a cheerful endurance and makrothumian [forbearing, patiently restraining]; that you amidst charas [cheerfulness, calm delight, joy] eucharistountes [are gratefully giving thanks] to the Father to qualify us to the portion of the lot of the hagion [holy, sacred, consecrated ones; saints] in the Light. He Who rescued us emergent from the authority of shadiness and transferred us into the Kingdom of the Son of His agapes. He in Whom we have redemption via His blood; the freedom of [from] hamartion [misses of the mark or goal; errors, offenses, sins]. Jesus, Who is the eikon [image, likeness, statue, icon] of the invisible Theos, the firstborn of all creation because in Him all was created: the things in the ouranois [skys, heavens] and the things upon the earth; the seen [visible] and the invisible, whether thrones or lordships or rank or authorities. All has been created via Him and to Him and He IS before the birth of the whole of creation and all is presented in Him. Also, He is the Head of the somatos [body], the ekklesias [assembly, church]. He, Who is the beginning, firstborn emergent from dead in order that He may be caused to be in first place in all; because in Him all repletion [completion] was approved to dwell and via Him to completely reconcile all to Himself [Father], making peace via the blood of His stake [cross] via Him; whether the things upon the earth or the things in the ouranois.

Luke 11.16: But others, testing Him, were seeking a semeion [sign, indication] from beside Him emergent from Ouranou [Heaven] but He (knowing their thoughts) said to them,

“Every kingdom divided over itself is laid waste and a house over [against] a house falls. Now, if also Satanas is divided over himself, how shall his kingdom stand? You say that in Beelzeboul I AM ejecting the demons but if I eject the demons in Beelzeboul, in what do your sons eject demons? Via this, they shall be your judges. But if in the finger of Theos, I eject the demons, then the Kingdom of Theos has arrived upon you.

Luke 17.20: Now, being asked by the Pharisees, at what time comes the Kingdom of Theos? He answered them and said,

“The Kingdom of Theos not comes amidst viewing, neither will they say LO! in this same place nor LO! there for the Kingdom of Theos is INSIDE you!”

Mark 1.14: Now, after John the Baptizer was surrendered, Jesus came into Galilee kerusson [proclaiming, heralding] the euaggelion [good news, gospel, evangel] of the Kingdom of Theos and saying,

“The time has been made replete [complete] and the Kingdom of Theos approaches. Metanoeite [Think differently, turnabout 1800, repent] and pisteuete [have reliance, have faith] in the euaggelio.”

Mark 10.13: And they brought Him children in order that He might touch them but the mathetai [learners, pupils, disciples] admonished those bringing them. But seeing this, Jesus was indignant, and He said to them,

“Aphete [Allow] the children to come to Me and do not estop them for of these is the Kingdom of Theos. Amen! I say to you, whoever not receives the Kingdom of Theos in the same way as a child, not (in no way) may he enter into it.”

Matthew 3: Now, came John the Baptistes [Baptizer], kerusson in the wastelands of Judea and saying,

“Metanoeite! for the Kingdom of the Ouranon has arrived.”

Matthew 10: And having summoned us twelve mathetas [learners, pupils, disciples], He gave us authority over impure pneumaton [spirits], so as to eject them and to heal every malady and every weakness. Now, the names of these twelve apostolon [delegates, ambassadors, apostles] are:

First, Simon (who is called Rock) and Andrew (his brother) Bar Jona; James Bar Zebedee and his brother John; Philip; Nathanael Bar Tolmai; Thomas; Matthew the tax collector [That’s me, and my brother], James Bar Alphaeus; and Judas surnamed Lebbeus [in Hebrew] who was called by his Latin surname Thaddaeus [called in American: “Jude”]; Simon the Kananites [“Zealous”]; and Judas Bar Simeon the Iscariot who also surrendered Him. These twelve Jesus set apart [sent out], having commanded us, saying,

“Not go into the road of the ethnon [nations, races, non-Jews, gentiles] and not enter a city of the Samaritans but travel toward the perishing sheep of the House of Israel. And traveling, kerussete [proclaim, herald], saying that the Kingdom of the Ouranon has arrived.

John 3: There was a man (emergent from the Pharisees) named Nicodemus [“The People is Victor”], who was a chief of the Jews [member of the Sanhedrin]. He came to Jesus by night and said to Him,

“Rabbi [Teacher, Master]! we know that You have come from Theos as a Teacher for not even one man can do these semeia (which You do) unless Theos is with Him.”

Jesus answered him,

“Amen! Amen! I say to you, if one doesn’t receive birth from above, he is unable to perceive the Kingdom of Theos.”

Nicodemus said to Him,

“How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot reenter into his mother’s womb and be born a second time.”

Jesus answered,

“Amen! Amen! I say to you, if one doesn’t receive birth both emergent from water [physically] and from the Hagios Pneuma [spiritually], he isn’t able to enter into the Kingdom of Theos. That receiving birth from flesh is flesh; that receiving birth from the Hagios Pneuma is pneuma [spirit]. Don’t marvel because I told you, ‘You must receive birth from above.’ The Hagios Pneuma breathes where He thelei and although you hear His phone [sound, tone, noise, voice], you neither know from where He comes nor where He goes. So, it is with everyone who has received birth emergent from the Hagios Pneuma.”

Lesson 124 Amplified -- BIAZO

 BIAZO

American: to force or to crowd oneself into

BIASTES

American: a forcer

This lesson is about the Kingdom of God. Our Lord Jesus, the Christos, says, in Matthew 18.3,

“Amen! I say to you, unless you revert and are caused to be as the children you cannot (by no means) enter into the Kingdom of the Ouranon [Heaven].”

In Luke 17.20,

 He tells the Pharisees,

The Kingdom of Theos not comes amidst viewing; neither will they say LO! in this same place nor LO! there, for the Kingdom of Theos is INSIDE you!”

In the scriptures below He says that the Kingdom of Theos is being entered by force!?

Almost Greek: [Words in italics are translator’s additions.]

Luke 16.14: Now, the Pharisees also heard all these words and being money-lovers, they scoffed at Him. And He said to them,

“You are dikaiountes [justifying] yourselves before the faces of men but Theos knows your hearts because the lofty in men is an abomination before the face of Theos. The Law and the Prophets [Old Testament] was preached up until John Bar Zekaryahuw. From then on, the Kingdom of Theos is being euaggelizetai [good news being announced, being evangelized] and all are biazetai [forcing themselves into, crowding into] it. But it is easier for the ouranon [heavens, sky] and the earth to pass away than for one keraian [the dot of an “i”] to fall.”

[This may be a condemnation of the editing and additions to the five “Books of Moses” and “The Books of the Prophets” that had been practiced for scores of years in the copying of texts by the grammateis [writers, recorders, scribes, secretaries].]

Matthew 11.11: [Jesus speaking] “Amen! I say to you, there hasn’t arisen (in those born of gunaikon [a woman]) one greater than John the Baptistou but the mikroteros [smallest, least] in the Kingdom of the Ouranon is greater than he is. Now, from the days of John the Baptistou (until just now) the Kingdom of the Ouranon is biazetai [being entered by force or crowding] and the biastai [forcers] seize it. For all The Law and the Prophets proepheteousan [before told, prophesied] until John and If you choose to receive this, he is Elijah! He who was expected to come! He having ears to hear, let him hear! But to what shall I compare this generation? It is like little boys sitting down in the marketplace, prosphonousi [sounding towards, shouting to] their comrades and saying, ‘We played the flute to you, and you didn’t dance! We bewailed to you, and you didn’t chop [beat the breast in grief].’ For John came neither eating nor drinking and they say, ‘He has a daimonion [demonic being, demon].’ And the Son of Man came, both eating and imbibing, and they say, ‘LO! a gluttonous Man and a wine drinker; a philos [friend] of tax collectors and hamartolon [missers or the mark or goal, those erring, offenders, sinners].’ And wisdom is edikaiothe [justified, vindicated] from her children.”
