ISAIAH 53.5 But He [Jesus] was pierced for our pesha [rebellion], crumbled [crushed] for our avown [perversity]. The muwcar [chastisement] of our shalom was upon Him and with His chaburah [weals, welts, as from whiplash], we are raphah [mended, cured, healed].
ISAIAH 57.19: “Shalom! shalom! to the far off and to the near,” says YHWH, “and I will heal him.”
Luke 2.25: And LO! there was a man (in Jerusalem) whose name was Simeon [“Hearing”] and this man was dikaios [equitable, just, right] and pious, confidently awaiting the paraklesin [imploration, urging, exhortation, encouragement, consolation] of Israel. And the Hagios [Holy, Sacred] Pneuma [Spirit, Ghost] was upon him, and it was spoken via oracle to him (through the Hagios Pneuma) that he wasn’t to see death before he sees the Christon [Anointed One, Messiah, Mashiyach, Christ] of the Kuriou [Lord, Master]. And he came (in the Hagios Pneuma) into the Temple. And when His parents introduced the Child Jesus into the Temple (they doing down [according] to the custom of The Law [Pentateuch, the Books of Moses, first five books of the Old Testament] concerning Him) and he [Simeon] received Him into his arms and he eulogemene [fine spoke, commended, praised, blessed] Theos [Father God] and said, “Now, fully free your slave, Despota [Despot; absolute ruler], down to Your rhema [utterance], in shalom because my eyes have seen Your Soterion [Defender, Savior] which [Whom] You prepared down [before] the face of all the peoples; a light to disclosure [revelation] to the ethnon [nations, races, non-Jews, gentiles] and a glory of Your people Israel.”
Luke 7.40: And
answering his unspoken question, Jesus
said to him,
“Simon [in Greek; “Simeon” in Hebrew: “Hearing”]!
I have something to say to you.”
Now, he says,
“Teacher! say on.”
“There were two debtors indebted to a certain lender. The one owed five hundred denarii.
Now, the other owed fifty. Now, them not
having anything to give back in repayment, he echarisato [granted as a favor, forgave
them] both
their debts. Accordingly, who of them (say you) agapesei [will unconditionally
love] him more?”
And answering, Simon said,
“I would say that him to whom he echarisato the more.”
Now, He said to him,
“You correctly judged!”
And turning toward the gunaika [woman], He
said to Simon,
“Look at this gunaika. When I entered into your house, you not gave me water for washing My feet, but she wet My feet
with her tears and wiped them with
the hair of her head. You gave me no kiss, but from the time when I entered, who but she not ceased earnestly
kissing My feet. You not anointed My head with olive oil, but she anointed My
feet with myrrh because of which I say to you, ‘Her many hamartiai [misses
of the mark or goal; errors, offenses, sins] apheontai [are sent forth, are
forsaken, are forgiven] because she egapesen much. Now, to whom puny is aphietai,
puny is the agape.”
Now, He said to her,
“Your hamartiai are apheontai.”
And those reclining with Him began to say within
themselves,
“Who is this? Who even aphiesin [forgives]
hamartiai.”
But He said to the gunaika,
“Your pistis [faith] sesoke [has made safe, has saved] you. Go in shalom.”
Luke 8.43: And a gune [woman]
being in a flow of blood from twelve years (who had expended her whole life
[livelihood, means] to physicians and
wasn’t able to be cured under not even one physician),
approaching from behind Him, she touched the hem of his outer garment and instantly the flow of
blood stood still. And Jesus said,
“Who touched Me?”
Now contradicting, Rock and those amidst him, said,
“Chief! the throng encircles and crushes You and do
you say, ‘Who was touching Me?’”
But Jesus said,
“Someone touched Me for I knew that dunamin [force, power] was issuing from Me.”
Now, seeing that she hadn’t escaped notice, the gune came trembling and fell towards Him. She announced to Him (before all the people) via what cause she had touched Him and how she was instantly cured. Now, He said to her,
“Be encouraged, Daughter, your pistis sesoke you. Go in shalom.”
Luke 10: Now after these events, the Kurios also appointed seventy others and sent them forth in front [ahead] of Him (by twos [in pairs]) into every city and place to which He was about to come. Then, He said to them,
“Indeed, the harvest is many, but the workers are a puny number. Accordingly, beg of the Kuriou of the Harvest in such a way that He eject workers into His harvest. Withdraw [Go]! LO! I send you forth as lambs amidst wolves. Not carry a purse nor wallet [food bag] nor sandals and hug not even one person down the road. Now, into whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Shalom to this house.’ And if in fact there is kinship of shalom, your shalom shall settle upon it but if not, it shall return to you. Now, stay in the same house eating and drinking the provisions at hand with them for the worker is deserving of his wages. Don’t change emergent from this house into another house and in whatever city that you enter, and they receive you, eat that being set before you and cure the feeble in it and say to them, ‘The Kingdom of Theos has come near upon you.’
Luke 12.49: [Jesus speaking] “I came to throw fire into the earth and how I wish that it were already kindled. Now I have to be baptisthenai [immersed, submerged, baptized] with a baptisma and how I am stressed so long as it is not completed. Do you think that I have arrived to give shalom in the earth? No indeed! (conversely) I say to you, rather disunion.”
Luke 18.36: Now, Him going, they [others] spread out their outer garments in the road for the ass to walk upon them. And even now (drawing near to the descent of the Mount of Olives), all the crowd of the matheton [learners, pupils, disciples] began rejoicing to praise Theos with megale [big, large, huge, great] phone [sound, tone, noise, voice] concerning all the dunamen [works of power] they had seen, saying, “Blest is the King coming in the name [authority] of the Kuriou!”
PSALM
118.26: “Kneel to Him, coming in the name [authority] of YHWH [Jehovah, Jahway]!”
[Continuation
of Luke] “Shalom in
Ourano [Heaven] and glory in the Highest [level of Heaven?]”
And
some of the Pharisees (from the crowd) said toward Him,
“Teacher! admonish Your mathetais!”
And answering, He said to them,
I tell you that if these are caused to be silent, the stones kekrxontai [ will shriek, will scream, will cry out, will caw as ravens]!”
“Shalom to you!”
But being caused to be frightened and in fear, they thought they were
spectators of a pneuma [spirit, ghost]. And He said to them,
Why are you agitated? and why do imaginations arise in your hearts? See by My hands, and My feet that I AM HE!
Touch Me and see because a pneuma hasn’t flesh and bones, just as you are
spectators of Me having.”
But while they were still
apistounton [without faith], from charas [cheerfulness, calm delight,
joy] and marveling, He said to them,
“Have you something edible here?”
They handed Him a piece of cooked fish and a piece of honeycomb. And taking these, He ate them before their faces.
Hebrews 7: For this Melchizedek, King of Shalom [“Salem” is the transliteration from Hebrew Aramaic to English by King James’ translators], Priest of the Most High Theos, is the One meeting Abraham on his returning from the slaughter of the kings and eulogesas [to speak well of, to praise, to bless] him; to Whom indeed Abraham divided a tenth from everything; firstly, being hermeneumenos [translated, interpreted] King of Dikaiosunes [equity, justification, rightness]; then also King of Shalom, which is King of Eirene [peace]. Historically He is without father, without mother, without genealogetos [genealogy] nor beginning of days nor having end of life but having been made as the Son of Theos, remains a Priest in perpetuity.
Hebrews 12.14: Pursue shalom and hagiasmon [holiness,
purity] with everyone, without which not even one person will see the Kuriou. Be diligently watching out lest any lack from the charitos [graciousness] of Theos, lest any root of bitterness growing up,
disturb and via this many be defiled.
John 13.18: I not speak concerning all of you for I know whom I chose but in order that the Graphe [Scripture, part of Old Testament] be fulfilled: One eating bread with Me has raised up his heel upon Me.”
PSALM 41.9 “Even a man of My shalom (in whom I trusted, eating of My bread) has lifted up his heel against Me.”
John 14.27: [Jesus speaking] Shalom I leave to you; not as the kosmos [universe, world, cosmos] gives, do I give to you. Not let your hearts be agitated nor let it [them] be fearful. You heard that I told you: I will disappear, and I will come back to you.
