APOSTASIA
American: defection
from the truth, apostasy
HAIRESIS
American: factionalism, dissenting belief, heresy
Both these Koine Greek words are involved with untruth. Webster’s Dictionary of the American Language defines apostasy as, “an abandoning of what one believed in”. The same reference defines heresy as, “a religious belief opposed to the orthodox doctrines of a church”.

Galatians 5.16: Now, I say, walk in the Hagios Pneuma and you won’t at all fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh longs for putting down the Hagios Pneuma but the Hagios Pneuma longs to put down the flesh. But these are opposite to one another in order that you not do whatever is your natural inclination. Now, if you are led by the Hagios Pneuma, you aren’t under The Law [Pentateuch, 1st 5 books of the Old Testament, Books of Moses]. Now, the works of the flesh are clearly revealed, which are: porneia [whoring, incest, non-marital sexual intercourse], impurity, licentiousness, idol-worship, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, hatred, thumos [passion, anger, indignation], intrigue, disunion, haireseis, corruption, phonoi [murders], intoxication, carousal, and similar things. I tell you now (what I previously told you), that those practicing such things won’t inherit the Kingdom of Theos.
2nd Peter 2: But there were also pseudoprophetai [false prophets] in the people, as also in you will be pseudodidaskaloi [false teachers], who will introduce destructive haireseis, also contradicting the Despoten [Ruler, Master, Despot] having redeemed them, further inflicting themselves with abrupt destruction. Many will follow out their ruin via whom the roadway of the truth blasphemethesetai [will be defamed, will be slandered, will be vilified, will be blasphemed]. In avarice they will peddle to you well-formed logois [words] for whom the long-standing krima [judgment] not dawdles, and their ruin not nods off.

Thessalonians 2: Brothers! we ask you over the coming of our Kurios Jesus, the
Christos, and our gathering together to Him, not to waver in the nous [intellect,
mind, understanding]; not to be frightened neither via pneuma [wind, breath, spirit] nor via logos [word]
nor via letter (as if from me) as if the Day of the Christos is come. Let not
even one person deceive you not (in no
way) because unless the apostasia comes first and the man of hamartia [misses of the mark or goal, error, offense, sin]
is revealed (the son of destruction, he who is opposite to Theos and is exalting
himself over everything relating to
Theos or object of worship), to sit down in the Temple of Theos, as if Theos (showing that he himself is a
theos), the Day of the Christos hasn’t
come.
Acts 21.17: Now, we being caused to be in Jerusalem, the brothers gladly received us. Now the following day, Paul went in with us, both to James Bar Joseph and all the elders present. And having hugged the same, he related down in each [one by one] of what Theos did in the ethnesi [nations, races, non-Jews, gentiles] via his service. Now hearing, they praised the Kurion and said to the same, “You see, brother, how many muriades [innumerable, myriads] there are of Jews episteukoton [having had faith] and they are all zealotai [zealots] of The Law. Now, they were katechethesan [indoctrinated, catechized] about you, that you teach apostasian to all the Jews down [throughout] the ethne, to depart from Moses’ teaching; telling them not to circumcise their children nor to walk in the Jewish customs. What then is to be done? It is specifically necessary that a crowd be convened for they will hear that you have come. Then do this; what we tell you. There are four men of us, having themselves under a vow. Join with these men and be ceremonially purified with the same and you pay the expenses upon the same in order that they may shave the head [Paul’s and the other four] and may know that all of which they have katechechetai with concerning you isn’t even one word of truth; conversely, that you also march in step, yourself keeping The Law. Now, concerning the ethnon pepisteukoton [who are in the faith] we commanded them in writing, krinantes [distinguishing, judging, instructing] the same to observe no such customs, if not [except] to guard [keep] themselves from both: Number One, idol-sacrifice and blood and meat from strangled animals and Number Two, porneia [ whoring, incest, non-marital sexual intercourse].
