Lesson 131 Amplified-- PANTOKRATOR

 PANTOKRATOR

American: all-ruling, almighty, omnipotent 

The eminence of our Father God, Theos, is beyond description. That He has created all that exists through of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christos, is easily said or written, but impossible to imagine. That He is both willing (boulema) and capable of simultaneously engaging in conversation with EVERY human alive, anywhere in His universe, is both TRUE and yet staggering!

2^nd Corinthians 6.14: Don’t be caused to be unequally yoked with apistois [those without faith] for what fellowship have dikaiosune [equity, justification, rightness] and lawlessness? What koinonia [sharing, partnership] has light with shadiness? What agreement has the Christo [Anointed One, Messiah, Christ] with Belial [“Worthlessness”, “Satan”]? or what share has one who pisto [has faith, has reliance] with one apistou [without faith]? What vow [contract] has a temple of Theos with eidoloi [images for worship, idols]? For you are a temple of a living Theos, even as Theos said,

“I will inhabit them, and I will walk among them, and I will be their Theos [God], and they shall be to Me a people.” 

LEVITICUS 26.12: [YHWH speaking] “I will give [put] my residence in your midst and My nephesh [psuche: soul, life, psyche, ego] shan’t detest you. I shall always walk in your midst and shall be to you for Elohiym [Triune God?] and you shall be to Me for a people. I AM YHWH [Jehovah, Jahway – the name of Father God], Your Elohiym...” 

EXODUS 29.45: [YHWH speaking] “I will reside amidst the sons of Israel. I will be to them Elohiym and they shall know that I AM YHWH, their Elohiym …”

 

EZEKIEL 37.27: [YHWH speaking] “… and I will give My sanctuary in their midst forever and My residence with them. I will be to them for Elohiym, and they shall be to Me for a people.”

 

[Paul again speaking] “Therefore, come forth emergent from the middle of them and be separated,” says the Kurios [Lord, Master], “and do not attach yourselves to the impure and I will receive you and I will be to you for a Father, and you will be to Me for sons and daughters,”

says the Kurios pantokrator.

 

ISAIAH 52.11: [YHWH speaking] “Turn off! Turn off! Go out from there! Not touch the foul! Go out from her midst! Distance yourself! Arise, the prepared of YHWH and I will take you into My favor and I will be to you a Father and you will be to Me for sons and daughters.”

 

HOSEA 2.1: [YHWH speaking] “… it shall be said to them, ‘Sons of the living El [God].’”

 

Revelation 1.4: From John to the seven ekklesiais [assemblies, churches] in Asia Minor:

Charis [Graciousness] to you and peace from the One Who was and is coming and from the seven Hagios [holy, sacred] Pneumaton [Spirits] Who are in the face of [before] His throne and from Jesus the Christou, the pistos [trustworthy, faithful] Witness, the Firstborn emergent from the dead and the Chief of the kings of the earth. To the One agapesanti [unconditionally loving] us and having bathed us from our hamartion [misses of the mark or goal; errors, offenses, sins] in His blood and having made us kings and priests to His Theos and Father; to Him is the glory and the kratos [vigor, power] to the ages of the ages. Amen!

LO! He comes amidst the cloudiness and every eye will gaze (with wide open eyes) upon the Same and [as well as] those who nailed the Same and all the offshoots [cultures] of the earth will chop [pound the breast in grief] over the Same. Yes! Amen! 

Revelation 1.8: “I AM the Alpha and the Omega: I AM the First and the Last!” says the pantokrator Kurios, “the One BEING and Who was and Who is coming.”

 

Revelation 4.2: And directly I was caused to be in the Hagios Pneuma and LO! a Throne (there in Ourano [Heaven]) and One sitting upon the Throne. And He was similar in appearance to a gemstone; jasper [“Glittering” or “Lord of the Treasure” – Scholars posit it is the rare green form of jasper.] and a sardius [better known in our day as carnelian, called blood stone by the ancients] and there was an iris [rainbow] around the Throne, similar in appearance to a smaragdino [an emerald]. And encircling the Throne I saw the twenty-four thrones and sitting down upon the thrones, I saw twenty-four elders (having been clothed in white garments) and they had crowns of gold upon their heads. And emergent from the Throne came forth lightnings and thunders and phonai [sounds, tones, noises, voices]. And seven lamps of fire were burning in the face of [before] the Throne Who were the seven Hagios Pneumata [Spirits] of Theos. And before the Throne is a glass-like sea like ice. And in the middle with the Throne and encircling the Throne are four living beings full of eyes, front and back. And the first living being is like a lion and the second living being is like a young bull and the third living being is having a face just as a man and the fourth living being is like a flying eagle. And the four living beings are individually having six wings (around the outside of their bodies) and (from inside) being full of eyes and they haven't intermission [breaks], day and night saying, “Hagios! Hagios! Hagios is Kurios Theos! the pantokrator One! The One Who was and Who IS and Who is coming.” 

Revelation 11.15: And the seventh aggelos [messenger, angel] trumpeted. And there were caused to be megalai [big, large, huge, great] phonai in Ourano, saying, “The kingdoms of the kosmou [world, universe, cosmos] are caused to be those of our Kuriou and of His Christou and He shall reign to the ages of the ages.” And the twenty-four elders (sitting down upon their thrones in the face of Theos) fell down upon their faces and prosekunesan [worshipped, as a dog licks his master's hand] Theos, saying, “We thank You, Kurie Theos, pantokrator, the One BEING and the One Who is coming because You took Your megalen dunamin [force, power] and reigned and the ethne [nations, races, non-Jews, gentiles] were provoked/enraged. And Your orge [violent passion, fury, rage, wrath] came and came the occasion of the dead krithenai [to be judged, to be put on trial] and the occasion to give wages to Your slaves: to the prophetais [before-tellers, prophets] and to the hagios [holy, sacred, consecrated ones; saints] and to those fearing Your name (to the mikros [small, little, tiny, micro] and to the megalois) and to thoroughly rot those thoroughly rotting the earth.” 

Revelation 15.2: And I saw like a glassy [transparent] sea having been mixed with fire. And those subduing (emergent from the beast and from the eikonos [image, likeness, statue, icon] of the same and emergent from the charagma [scratch, etching, tattoo, scar, mark] of the same and emergent from the number of the name of the same) were standing upon the glassy sea having lyres of Theos. And they sing the song [Hebrew cantillation] of Moses (the slave of Theos) and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Megala and wonderful are Your works, Kurie, pantokrator Theos. Dikaiai [equitable, just, right] and truthful are Your ways, Sovereign of the Hagion. Who won't fear You? Kurie and glorify Your name because only You are inherently right that all the ethne will arrive and proskunesousin in Your face because Your dikaiomata [equity, justification, rightness] was rendered apparent.” 

Revelation 16.4: And the third aggelos poured out his bowl upon the rivers and upon the springs of waters and they were caused to be blood and I heard the aggelou of the waters saying,

“Dikaios Kurie! YOU ARE He being, Who was and Who will be! because You judged these that poured out the blood of hagion [saints] and propheton [prophets]. You gave them blood to drink, for they are deserving of this. And I heard another phone emergent from the altar, saying, 

“Yes! Kurie! pantokrator Theos! truthful and dikaiai are Your kriseis [accusation, condemnation, judgment].”  

Revelation16.8: And the fourth aggelos poured out his bowl upon the sun and it was given to it to burn the men in fire and the men were burned by mega fire and they eblasphemesan [spoke irreverently of, profaned; blasphemed] the Name of Theos, the One having authority over these strokes and they not metenoesan [thought differently, turned about 180 degrees, repented] to give Him glory.

 

Revelation 19.5: And a phone (emergent from the throng) issued forth, saying,

“Hallel [Praise] our Theos! all His slaves and all those fearing Him; both the mikroi and the megaloi.”

And I heard (as it were) a phonen of much water and (as it were) a phonen of mighty thunders, saying,

“Hallel u Yah [Praise to Yahweh]! because the pantokrator Kurios, Theos, reigned! Let us rejoice! Let us rejoice and exult and we will give the glory to Him because the wedding of the Lamb came and His gune [wife; the Christian church] prepared herself. 

Revelation 19.11: And I saw Ouranon having been opened and LO! a white horse and the one sitting down upon the same being called “Pistos and Truthful”! And in dikaiosune, He krinei [determines, judges, puts on trial] and engages in warfare. But His eyes were like a flash of fire and upon His head were many diadema [crowns, diadems] having a name having been written which not even one person knows (except Him) and being clothed with a garment having been immersed in blood and His name is called: “The Logos [Word] of Theos”! And the armies (in Ourano) accompanied Him upon white horses; each having been clothed with clean, white linen. And emergent from His mouth goes forth a keen saber [cavalry sword] in order that with the same He may strike the ethne, and He will tend [shepherd] the same with a scepter of iron. And He tramples the grapes trough of the wine of the thumou [passion, anger, indignation] and of the orges [violent passion, fury, rage, wrath] of the pantokrator Theos. And He has a name having been written upon His garment and upon His thigh: “SOVEREIGN OF SOVEREIGNS and KURIOS OF KURION”!
