Lesson 23 Amplified – LORD’S PRAYER

     Now let’s study the prayer given to the mathetai [learners, pupils, disciples] by our Lord Jesus the Christos.

Luke 11.2 through 4:

Our Father in the Ouranoi [Heavens]!

Your Name hagiastheto [make holy, sacred God]!

Let Your Kingdom come!

Let Your thelema [determination, choice, decision, decree] be caused to be, as in Ouranos [Heaven], so also upon the earth.

Daily give to us our bread, down the day.

And aphes[send forth, forsake, forgive] us our hamartiai [misses of the mark or goal; offenses; sins], as, the same, we also aphiemen all indebted to us.

And not carry us into testing;

Conversely, rescue us from the hurtful one.

 

Matthew 6.9 through13:

Our Father in the Ouranoi!
