Lesson 113 Amplified -- PRAUTES

 PRAUTES

American: mildness, humbleness

Hebrew Aramaic: hesuchiou

PRAUTETOS

American: mild, humble

Hebrew Aramaic: hesuchiou

Most New Testament translations still use the feckless “meekness” and “meek” for these Koine Greek words. “Meek” is defined by Webster’s New World Dictionary of the American Language: “2a. tamely submissive; easily imposed upon; 2b. too submissive; spineless; spiritless.” Christians are not meek and certainly not our Lord Jesus.

Almost Greek: (Words in italics are translator’s additions.)

James 1.19: So too, my agapetoi [ unconditionally loved] brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to orgen [violent passion, fury, rage, wrath] for the orge of man not works the dikaiosunen [equity, justification, rightness] of Theos. Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of the kakias [worthlessness], in prauteti receive the implanted logon [word] sosai [being able to make safe, being able to save] your psuchas [souls, lives, psyches, egos]. Be caused to be doers of the Logou [Word] and not only hearers, deceiving yourselves. If anyone is a hearer of the Logou and not a doer, this one is like a man perceiving the [his] congenital [natural] face in a mirror. He perceived for himself and has gone away and immediately forgot what sort of being he was. But he having looked into the perfect law of freedom and continuing in it (the same not being caused to be a forgetful hearer but a doer of work) the same will be makarios [supremely blessed] in his doing. If anyone in [among] you think himself to be pious, yet not bridling his tongue, he is deceiving his own heart. This one’s piety is empty. Clean piety and undefiled before Theos (and Father) is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction and to keep himself unspotted from the kosmou [universe, world, cosmos].

1st Peter 3: Likewise, gunaikes [women, wives], subordinate yourselves to your own men [husbands] in order that (if any apeithousi [are willfully without faith in] the Logo) via the behavior of their gunaikon (without a logou), they will be gained for the Kingdom; having examined your in-fear, clean [pure] behavior. Of whom [You], not let it be the external, elaborate braiding of hair and a putting all around of gold or dressing of adorning apparel but let it be the concealed person of the heart (in the imperishability of the praeos [mild, humble] and sedate pneumatos [spirit]) which is very precious before the face of Theos. For at one time, this is how the hagiai gunaikes, elpizousai [putting expectation, putting hope] upon Theos, adorned themselves, subordinating themselves to their own men as Sarah attentively hearkened to Abraham (calling him kurion [lord, master]) of whom you were caused to be children; doing good and fearing no alarm.

1st Peter 3.13: And who is he injuring you? If you are caused to be imitators of the good but if you also suffer via dikaiosunen, you makarioi. But don’t be frightened by fear of them nor be agitated.

ISAIAH 8.12: [YHWH] “The fear [dread] of this people don’t fear and don’t awe them.”

[1st Peter continues] But hagiasate [make holy] the Kuriou Theos in your hearts, being ever ready toward pleading your case (to everyone asking you) a logon concerning the elpidos [expectation, hope] in you, amidst prautetos and fear, having a good conscience in order that in that they slander you as kakopoleo [doer of worthlessness], they may be shamed down, those insulting your good behavior in the Christo [Anointed One, Messiah, Christ]. For it is stronger [better] to be a good doer if the thelema [determination, choice, decision, decree] of Theos thelo you to suffer, rather than to suffer for being a kakopoleo. Because the Christos once suffered concerning hamartion [missing of the mark or goal, error, offense, sin] (the dikaios suffering over [for] the unjust) in order that He might lead us forward to Theos, (in fact) being killed in the flesh but made alive in the Hagios Pneuma, in Whom [Holy Spirit] He was also traveling to the in-guarding [imprisoned] pneumasi [spirits] in Haides [Unseen, subterranean world of the dead, Hades]. He now ekeruschen [proclaimed, heralded] to the apeithesasi [willfully without faith] who once ejected the forbearance of Theos in the days of Noah. Father God having thoroughly prepared a box [ark] into which a puny number (that is eight psuchai) diesothesan [were made safe, were saved] via water. Corresponding to that, baptisma [immersion, submersion, baptism] now sozei [makes safe, saves] us; not of the flesh (the putting aside of filth) but an appeal to Theos for a good conscience via the anastaseos [deathlessness, immortality] of Jesus, the Christou (Who is in the right of Theos), having traversed into Ouranon [Heaven]; aggeloi [messengers, angels], authorities, and dunameon [powers] being subordinated to Him.

Matthew 21.4: Now, the whole of this happened in order that might be fulfilled that spoken via the prophetou Zechariah, saying,

“Tell the daughter of Zion, LO! your King comes to you, praus [mild, humble] and mounted upon a donkey, even a foal, the son of a donkey.”

ZECHARIAH 9.9: Vehemently rejoice! O daughter of Zion! Cheer! O Jerusalem! LO! your King is coming to you! He is wide open and serving YHWH; humble and riding upon a male donkey, upon the colt of a donkey, the son of a female donkey!

1st Peter 3.15: But hagiasate [make holy] the Kuriou Theos in your hearts, being ever ready toward pleading your case to everyone asking you a logon concerning the elpidos in you, amidst prautetos and fear (having a good conscience) in order that in that they slander you as kakopoleo [doer of worthlessness], they may be shamed down (those insulting your good behavior in the Christo).

Lesson 112 Amplified -- HAGIAZO

 HAGIAZO

American: to make holy, sanctify

Hebrew Aramaic: qadash

HAGIAZOMENOUS

American: made holy, sanctified

Hebrew Aramaic: qodesh

In this lesson we complete our study of holiness by learning how we become holy.

Almost Greek (Words in italics are translator’s additions.)

1st Thessalonians 4: Finally then, brothers, we request of you and parakaloumen [call near, invite, urge, exhort, encourage] you in the Kurios Jesus, even as you received from us how it is necessary to walk and to please Theos in order that you superabound the more. For you know what commands we gave to you via the Kurios Jesus. For this is the thelema [determination, choice, decision, decree] of Theos, your purification: for you to abstain from porneia [whoring, incest, non-marital sexual intercourse], for each one of you knows how to possess his own vessel [body] in hagiasmos [holiness, purity] and time [value, esteem], not in passion of forbidden desire as the ethnoi [nations, races, non-Jews, gentiles] not knowing Theos. Not shall you climb over or be covetous of your brother in a deed because the Kurios is the Ekdikos [One meting out justice] concerning all these as indeed we earnestly testified and forewarned you. For Theos not called us to impurity, but in hagiasmos. So those despising you, not despise man but Theos, the One giving His Hagios Pneuma to You.

1st Corinthians 6: Dares anyone of you (having a matter against another of you) to be judged before the adikeo [unjust] and not before the hagion [holy, sacred, consecrated ones; saints]? Don't you know that the hagioi will judge the kosmon [universe, world, cosmos]? And if the kosmos is judged by you, are you unworthy of small judgments? Don’t you know that we will judge aggeloi [messengers, angels]? (I’m not speaking of this present life.) If (in fact then) you have judgments in this life, do you seat as judges those being least esteemed in the ekklesia [assembly, church]? I say,

“Shame on you!”

Isn’t in you a wise one? Is not one in your midst who will be able to judge between his brothers? But brother amidst brother is judged and this before [by] those apiston [without faith]. Actually (then) it is already a failure with you that you have lawsuits amidst yourselves. Instead, why not accept injustice? Instead, why not be apostereisthe [deprived, despoiled]? But you do injustice and apostereite [deprive, despoil] and these acts to brothers. Or not know you that those adikeo [being unjust] won't be heirs to the Kingdom of Theos? Do not be led astray! Not pornoi nor idolaters nor moichoi [adulterers] nor effeminate nor sodomites nor thieves nor greedy nor drunkards nor revilers nor plunderers; in no way shall they be heirs to the Kingdom of Theos. And some of you were these but you were totally washed; but you hegiasthete [were made holy]; but you edikaiothete [were rendered just] in the name of the Kuriou and in the Hagios Pneuma of our Theos.

1st Corinthians 7.8: I say to the unmarried and widows that it is kalon [beautiful, virtuous] for them if they also remain single as I am. But if they not exercise self-restraint, let them marry for it is better to marry than to be inflamed with lust. To those having married, I command (not I but the Kurios) that a gunaika [woman, wife] isn’t to be separated [divorced] from her man but if she is separated [divorced], to remain unmarried or to be reconciled to her man. A man isn’t to send away his gunaika. To the rest I say (I, not the Kurios), if any brother who has an apistos [without-faith] gunaika and she is pleased to live with him, not let him send her away. A gune with faith in Jesus, who has an apistos man and he is pleased to live with her, not let her send him away. For the apistos man hegiastai [has been made holy] by the of-the-faith gunaiki and the apistos gune hegiastai by the of-the-faith man, otherwise your children are [would be] impure but now they are hagia. But if the apistos separates, let them be separated. The brother or sister isn’t in bondage in such matters. Theos has called us in peace. For how know you, O gunai! whether you will soseis [make safe, save] your man or how know you, O man! whether you will soseis your gunaika?

Romans 15.14: Now, concerning you, my brothers, even I (myself) am also convinced that you (yourselves) are full of goodness, crammed full of all knowledge and also able to caution [warn] one another. I wrote more boldly to you from afar off, brothers, in part to remind you, via the charin [graciousness] given to me by Theos for to be a public servant of Jesus, the Christou, to the ethne (serving the euaggelion [good news, gospel, evangel] of Theos as a priest) in order that the presentation [offering] of the euaggelion of [to] the ethnon be caused to be well received; hegiasmene [made holy, sanctified] in the Hagios Pneuma.

Acts 26.15: Now, I [Saul, Paul] said,

“Who are You, Kurie?”

Now, He [Jesus] said,

“I AM Jesus Whom you pursue [persecute]. Now otherwise [reversing yourself], rise and stand upon your feet for into this I have caused you to stare wide-eyed, to purpose you to be a sub-servant and a witness, both of what you have seen and of what I will cause you to wide-eyed stare at. I AM plucking you out emergent from the people and the ethnon, to whom I now send you forth to open their eyes, and to revert them from shadiness into luminousness and to revert them from the privilege [authority] of Satana onto Theos, to receive forgiveness of hamartion [missing the mark or goal; erring, offending, sinning] and a lot [portion] in those being hegiasmenois [made holy, sanctified] by their pistei [faith] into Me.”

Hebrews 2.5: For He didn’t subject the coming habitable land (about which I speak) to aggelois but somewhere one solemnly testified, saying “What is man that You remember [are mindful of] him or the son of man, that You observe him? You made Him [Jesus] a little less than the aggelous. You crowned Him with time [value, esteem, dignity] and glory, and You set Him over the works of Your hands. You subjected all under His feet.” For in order to subject all to Him, He left not even one thing not subjected to Him but now we don’t yet see all having been subjected to Him. But we do see Jesus, having been made a little less than the aggelous, so (by the chariti of Theos) He might taste death for everyone because of His suffering and death, having been crowned with glory and with time [value, esteem, dignity]. For it was fitting for Him (because of Whom all exists) bringing many sons to glory; to perfect Him (the Author of their soterias [rescue, safety, salvation]) via going through suffering. For both He hagiazon [making holy] and the ones hagizoneboi [being made holy] are all of one for which reason He isn’t ashamed to call them brothers, saying, “I will apaggelo [announce, proclaim] Your name, Father, to My brothers and I humneso [will hymn to, will sing praises to] You in the midst of the ekklesias.”

PSALM 22.22: [Jesus speaking] “I will celebrate Your name to My brothers. I will halal [praise] You among the assembly.”

Hebrews 10.9: then He said, “LO! I come to do Your thelema [determination, choice, decision, decree], Theos.”

He takes away the first [1st Blood Covenant, Old Testament] in order that He may set up the second [2nd Blood Covenant, New Testament], by which Will and Testament we hegiasmenoi [are made holy, are sanctified] via the prosphoras [presentation, offering] of the somatos [body] of Jesus, the Christou [Mashiyach]; once for everyone. Every priest stands (down to day by day, as a public servant), serving and often prospheron [bearing toward, bringing near, to an altar] the same thusia [animal sacrifice] of which not even one can take away hamartias. But He, prosenelkas [having offered] one thusia on behalf of hamartion, in perpetuity sat down at the right of Theos; from then, accepting [awaiting] until His enemies are placed as a stool for His feet. For by One prosphora He has perfected (in perpetuity) those being hagiazomenous. The Hagios Pneuma also testifies to us. For after having said before,

“After these days, this is the blood covenant which I covenant to them,” says the Kurios, “Giving My laws on their hearts and I will write them on their diathesomai [deep thought, understanding] and not (in no way) will I still remember their hamartion and their lawless deeds.”

Now, where there is aphesis [forgiveness] of these, there is no longer prosphora concerning hamartias.

Hebrews 12.9: Moreover, we had fathers of our flesh as correctors and we respected them. Shan't we much more be subject to the Father of Pneumaton [Spirit] and shall live? For they (in fact) disciplined us for a few days down to the seeming-to-them good but He does so for our profit, to partake of His hagiatetos [holiness, sanctification]. In fact, all discipline seems for the present not to be of joy but of grief but later it gives back to those having been trained through it, peaceable fruit of dikaiosunes [equity, justification, rightness]. Therefore, straighten up the dangling alongside hands and the enfeebled knees and make straight tracks for your feet in order that the lame not be turned aside but rather, be healed.

12.14 Pursue shalom [safety, peace, health, happiness, prosperity, friendship] and hagiasmon [holiness, purity] with everyone, without which not even one person will see the Kuriou.

PSALM 110.1: A statement of YHWH to My Adonay [Lord, Master]: “Sit at My right until I set Your enemies a stool for Your feet. The rod [scepter] of Your strength shall YHWH send forth out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies! Your people shall be willing in the day of Your might. In the majesties of qodesh [hagiasmos], from the womb of the dawn comes the dew of Your youth to You. YHWH has sworn and won't repent: You eternally are a Priest according to the order of Melchizadek!”

Lesson 111 Amplified -- PAIDEIA

 PAIDEIA

American: training, disciplining, chastening, chastising

Hebrew Aramaic: muwcar

An archaic English infinitive is “to chasten”, which Webster’s New World Dictionary of the American Language defines as “to punish in order to correct or make better; chastise.” “Chastise is defined as “to punish in order to correct, usually by beating.” “Chastisement” is defined as “a chastening; punishment, usually by beating.” As we move from training to chastisement, it seems that the severity of the action intensifies.

Almost Greek: (Words in italics are translator’s additions.)

2nd Corinthians 6: Being your fellow worker, I also parakaloumen [call near, invite, urge, exort, encourage, console] you not vainly to receive the charin [graciousness] of Theos, for He says, “At a favorable time, I heard you and in a day of soterias [rescue, safety, salvation], I helped you.”

ISAIAH 49.8: Thus says YHWH:

“In a favorable time, I paid attention to you and in a day of yeshuwah [deliverance, salvation], I surrounded [enfolded, embraced, hugged] you.”

[Corinthians continues] LO! now is a favorable time. LO! now is a day of soterias. not even one person in not even one issue should be giving cause of stumbling in order that the service not be blamed. Conversely, in all I am presenting myself as a servant of Theos: in much hupomone [cheerful endurance], in stress, in constraint, hemmed in, in stripes [being whipped], in imprisonment, in riot, in toil, in sleeplessness, in fasting, in purity, in knowledge, in makrothumia [forbearance, patient restraint], in kindness, in the Hagios Pneuma, in unfeigned agape, in a logos of truth, in the dunamei [force, power] of Theos; via the implements of dikaiosunes [equity, justification, rightness] of the right hand [offensively] and of the left hand [defensively]; via glory and via infamy; via defamation and via praise; as a vagrant and yet as true; as unknown and yet as well-known; as dying and notice, I live; as paideuomenoi [trained, chastened, chastised] and yet not killed; as grieved and yet always joyful; as a beggar but making many wealthy; as not having even one possession and yet possessing the whole world.

Luke 23.13: Now, Pilate (assembling the chief priests and the elite and the people) said to them,“You brought to me this Man as if He were corrupting the people, and LO! (Interrogating Him before your faces) I found not even one cause for legal action in this Man; none of the charges you bring down upon Him. Furthermore, neither did Herod for I sent Him up to him for you, and LO! not even one cause deserving death is practiced by Him. Accordingly, paideusas [having trained, having disciplined, having chastened, having chastised, having whipped] Him, I will totally free Him.”

Luke 23.20: Accordingly, once again Pilate prosphoneo [sounded towards, voiced towards] them, wanting to fully free Jesus but they ephepephonoun [called against, cried against, shouted against] in retort, saying,

“Crucify! Crucify Him!”

But he said toward them a third time.

“For what kakon [worthless] deed did He do? I not found even one cause worthy of death in Him. Accordingly, paideusas Him, I will fully free Him.”

Hebrews 12: So, we having such a cloud of witnesses encircling us, putting [throwing] away [behind] every weight [an Olympics dash racing metaphor] and the easily surrounded hamartian [missing the mark or goal; error, offence, sin], let us run the race set before us via hupomones [cheerful endurance, constancy], looking to the Author and Finisher of our pisteos [faith] -- Jesus. Who against the joy set before Him, endured the stake, despising shame and sat down at the right of Theos’ throne. For consider the One having endured such contradiction of hamartolon against Himself by sinners, lest you grow weary, fainting in your psuchais [soul, life, psyche, ego]. You have not yet resisted unto blood, wrestling against hamartian. Have you forgotten the parakleseos [calling near, invitation, imploration, urging, exhortation, encouragement, consolation] which He speaks with you as to sons?

“My son, don’t despise the paideias of the Kuriou, nor faint while being corrected by Him for whom He agapa [unconditionally loves], the Kurios paideuei and He whips every son whom He receives.”

JOB 5.17: “LO! happy is the man whom Eloah [Father God] corrects and don’t despise the muwcar [paideia] of the Shadday [Almighty]. For He wounds, and then binds up [bandages]. He shatters, and then His hands heal.”

Isaiah 53.5: But He [Jesus] was pierced for our pesha [rebellion], crumbled [crushed] for our avown [perversity]. The muwcar of our shalom [safety, peace, health, happiness prosperity, friendship] was upon Him and with His chaburah [weals, welts, as from whiplash], we are raphah [mended, cured, healed].

Lesson 110 Amplified -- PEACE

 EIRENE

American: peace

SHALOM

Hebrew Aramaic: shalom

American: safety, peace, health, happiness, prosperity, friendship

Greeks used eirene as a salutation or a parting wish, “Peace to you”. Hebrews used shalom, “Safety, peace, health, happiness, prosperity, friendship to you”. King James’ translators used the transliteration “salem” in place of the Hebrew Aramaic “shalom”. Let’s see how peace appears in the New Blood Covenant.

Almost Greek: (Words in italics are translator’s additions.)

1st Thessalonians 5.23: May the Theos of eirenes Himself make you absolutely, perfectly hagios, perfectly sound in your pneuma [breath, spirit] and that your psuche [soul. life, psyche, ego] and your soma [body] may be faultlessly kept in the return of our Kurios Jesus the Christos [Anointed One, Messiah, Christ]. He calling you is worthy of your pistis [reliance upon, faith in] Who also will do the fulfilling of your call.

2nd Thessalonians 3.16: May the Kurios of eirenes, Himself, continually give you eirenen in every way. The Kurios be with you all.

Galatians 5.16: Now, I say, walk in the Hagios Pneuma and you won’t at all fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh longs for putting down the Hagios Pneuma but the Hagios Pneuma longs to put down the flesh. But these are opposite to one another in order that you not do whatever is your natural inclination. Now, if you are led by the Hagios Pneuma, you aren’t under The Law. Now, the works of the flesh are clearly revealed, which are: porneia [whoring, incest, non-marital sexual intercourse], impurity, licentiousness, idol-worship, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, hatred, thumos [passion, anger, indignation], intrigue, disunion, haireseis [factionalism, dissenting beliefs, heresy], corruption, phonoi [murders], intoxication, carousal, and similar things. I tell you now (what I previously told you), that those practicing such things won’t inherit the Kingdom of Theos. Now, the fruit of the Hagios Pneuma is agape, cheerfulness, eirene, forbearance, kindness, goodness, pistis, gentleness and self-control. Truly, down to [against] these isn’t a law. Now, those of the Christou have crucified the lusts of the flesh with its passions.

Galatians 6.12: Those who want to look good (only in the flesh) compel you to be circumcised in order that they won’t be pursued [persecuted] for the cross of the Christou. For not even those being circumcised themselves keep The Law; conversely, they want you to be circumcised in order that they may boast in your flesh. But may it not be caused to be that I boast, except in the cross of our Kuriou Jesus, the Christou, via Whom the kosmos [universe, world, cosmos] has been crucified to me and I to the kosmos. For in Jesus, the Christo, neither circumcision has any strength nor with-foreskin; conversely, a new creation has the power and to as many as shall march by this kanon [rule, standard, canon], eirene and eleos [compassion, pity, mercy] be upon them and upon the Israel of Theos.

2nd Corinthians 13.11: Finally, brothers, rejoice! Thoroughly complete [perfect] yourselves. Parakaleisthe [Urge, Exort, Encourage, Console] yourselves! Be of one mind! Eireneuete [Be at peace] and the Theos of agapes [unconditional love] and of eirenes [peace] will be with you. Hug one another in a hagio kiss. All the hagioi [holy, sacred, consecrated ones; saints] here hug you.

Romans 2.6: …Theos, Who will give to each one down [according] to his work.

PSALM 62.12: [about the Adonay] “... for You complete [perfect] a man according to his action [work].”

PROVERB 24.12: “... and He returns to a man according to his act [work].”

[Romans continues] Theos will give to those (in fact) by cheerful endurance in good work (seeking glory, timen [value, esteem] and incorruptibility [immortality]) eternal life but to those emergent from intrigue (even {in fact} willfully disbelieving the truth but approving injustice), He gives thumos [passion, anger, indignation] and orge [violent passion, fury, rage, wrath]. There will be stress and calamity for every psuche of man working totally kakon [the worthless], (firstly for the Jew and also for the Greek) but glory, time [value, esteem] and eirene for everyone working good (firstly for the Jew and also for the Greek) for there isn’t partiality with Theos.

Romans 5: Then dikaiothentes [having been rendered just] emergent from pisteos, we eirenen [have peace] with Theos via our Kuriou Jesus, the Christou, via whom we also have had admission (by pistei) into His charin [graciousness] in which we stand and over which we exult, the elpidi [expectation, hope] of the glory of Theos. Now, not only this {conversely}, we [I] also exult in stress, knowing that stress works completion of cheerful endurance and cheerful endurance works completion of trustiness and trustiness works completion of elpida. And elpis doesn’t shame down for the agape of Theos has been poured forth in our hearts via the Hagios Pneuma Who was given to us.

Romans 8.6: For the mental inclination [mind set] of the flesh is death, whereas the inclination of the Hagios Pneuma is life and eirene.

Romans 10.15: How shall they keruxousin [herald, proclaim] the Kingdom of God unless they are sent out? Just as it has been gegraptai [written in the Old Testament],

“How timely are the feet of those euaggelizouenon [announcing good news, evangelizing] of eirenen; of those euaggelizouenon of good things!”

ISAIAH 52.7: [YHWH speaking] “How at home on the mountain of God are the feet of him basar [euaggelizo] shalom, basar of good things; making deliverance understood, saying to Zion, ‘Your Elohiym reigns!’”

ISAIAH 53.5: But He [Jesus] was pierced for our pesha [rebellion], crumbled [crushed] for our avown [perversity]. The muwcar [chastisement] of our shalom was upon Him and with His chaburah [weals, welts, as from whiplash], we are raphah [mended, cured, healed]. We all ourselves, like migratory herds taah [have vacillated, reeled, gone astray]. Each man has turned to his derek [way, road trodden] and YHWH has made paga [impinge] upon Him the pesha of us all. He was nagas [driven as an animal, harassed] and He was browbeaten but He not opened His mouth. As a rachel [ewe] to slaughter, He yabal [was flowed, carried, brought, led forth] and as a rachel face-to-face with her shearers is alam [tongue-tied, dumb, silenced], He not opened His mouth. From otser [constraint, confinement] and from mishpat [the verdict, the sentence] He was taken and who shall siyach [ponder, consider] His dor [era, generation]? For He was cut off from the land of the alive [living] from [because of] the pesha of my [Isaiah’s] people; the blow struck Him. And He was given [put] with the morally wrong and His sepulcher with a rich man in His death, although He hadn’t done violence nor was deceit found in His mouth. But YHWH was pleased to crumble [crush] Him; to rub [wear out, sicken] Him. When You [YHWH] and He shall put [make] a guilt offering of His nephesh [psuche], He shall see His spiritual zera [sperma(i): descendant(s), seed, sperm {Hebrew doesn’t have plural nouns}]. He shall prolong His days and the pleasure of YHWH in His hand [power, means] shall push forth [prosper]. He shall see the fruit of the amal [wearing effort, stress] of His nephesh and be satisfied. Through knowledge of Himself My [YHWH’s] tsaddiyq [just, righteous] Servant shall make tsadaq [to be just, to be righteous] abundant [very, very many] and their avown He shall cabal [carry, bear]. Therefore, I [YHWH] will apportion to Him with the abundantly wealthy and with the powerful. He shall apportion the spoils [booty] because He emptied out His nephesh into death and was numbered with the pasha [those who break away, rebels] and He bore the chet [penalty] of abundant [very, very many] and for the pasha [rebellion], paga [was impinged upon].

Philippians 4.4: Always rejoice in the Kurio! Again, I will say, rejoice! Let your propriety [decorum] be known to all men. The Kurios is near. Not be anxious about even one thing! Conversely, in everything (by proseuche [humbly begging of God, prayer] and deesei [petitions, requests, prayers] amid eucharistias [gratefully giving thanks] to Him), let your requests be made known to Theos. Also, the eirenen of Theos which surpasses all intellect [understanding] will be the vanguard [scout, guide] of your hearts and your minds in Jesus the Christo.

Hebrews 7: For this Melchizadek, King of Shalom [“Salem” is the transliteration from Hebrew Aramaic to English by King James’ translators], Priest of the Most High Theos, is the One meeting Abraham on his returning from the slaughter of the kings and eulogesas [commended, blessed] him; to Whom indeed Abraham divided a tenth from everything; firstly, being hermeneumenos [translated, interpreted] King of Dikaiosunes [Equity, Justice, Rightness]; then also King of Shalom, which is King of Eirene. Historically He is without father, without mother, without genealogetos [genealogy] nor beginning of days nor having end of life but having been made as the Son of Theos, remains a Priest in perpetuity.

Ephesians 2.13: But now in Jesus the Christo, you (those then being afar off) were caused to be near, via the blood of the Christou. For He is our eirene; the One making both “with foreskin” and “circumcised” one and having broken down the middle wall of partition in the Temple. He has broken (in His flesh) the enmity, has abolished The Law of the commands in decrees, in order that He recreate the two (in Himself) into one new man. Thus, He is making eirenen. And in order that He might reconcile both in one somati (to Theos), He was slaying the enmity in Himself, via the stake. And coming, He eueggelisato [announced the good news of] eirenen to you (those being afar off) and to the [those] being near.

ISAIAH 57.19: “Shalom! shalom! to the far off and to the near,” says YHWH, “and I will heal him.”
