Lesson 117 Amplified -- PATIENCE

 STEGO

American: patiently endure

MAKROTHUMEO

American: forbearing, patient, patiently enduring

MAKROTHUMIA

American: forbearance, patience, fortitude, patient restraint

HUPOMONE

American: cheerful endurance, constancy

Mature Christians thoroughly understand that Father God is constantly making decisions for their growth and for their wellbeing. When faced with apparently bad circumstances, they patiently endure with wide open eyes, seeking the next step to take, listening for directions.

Almost Greek: (Words in italics are translator’s additions.)

1st Corinthians 9.9: For us it was written because the one plowing ought to plow upon elpidi [expectation, hope] and he threshing to thresh upon elpidos of sharing in the elpidi harvest. If we sowed to you spiritual things, is it mega if we shall reap from you the fleshly things? If others in you have a share, shouldn’t we have more? But we not used this privilege; conversely, we stegomen [patiently endured] all in order that we not give anyone a hindrance to receiving the euaggelio [good news, gospel, evangel] of the Christou [Anointed One, Messiah, Christ]. Don't you know that those toiling in sacred things eat the food of the temple? Those attending the altar partake with the altar. So also, the Kurios instituted that those kataggellousin [announcing, proclaiming] were to live off the euaggeliou. But I haven’t used even one of these privileges. I not write these words in order that it should be done so with me for I would rather die than that anyone should make my boast empty. For if I euaggelizomai [announce good news, evangelize], there isn’t a thing to boast of for the necessity to do so rests upon me and woe is to me if I not euaggelizomai. For if I voluntarily do this, I have wages but if involuntarily, am I still entrusted with administration? What then are my wages? that when I euaggelizomenos, I lay out the euaggelion of the Christou without charge so as not to use my privilege in the euaggelio to the full.

2nd Corinthians 6.3: I should not even one person (in not even one issue) be giving cause of stumbling in order that the service not be blamed. Conversely, in all I am presenting myself as a servant of Theos: in much hupomone, in stress, in constraint, hemmed in, in stripes [whipped], in imprisonment, in riot, in toil, in sleeplessness, in fasting, in purity, in knowledge, in makrothumia, in kindness, in the Hagios Pneuma, in unfeigned agape, in a logos of truth, in the dunamei [force, power] of Theos; via the implements of dikaiosunes [equity, justification, rightness] of the right hand [offensively] and of the left hand [defensively]; via glory and via infamy; via defamation and via praise; as a vagrant and yet as true; as unknown and yet as well-known; as dying and notice, I live; as paideuomenoi [trained, chastened, chastised] and yet not killed; as grieved and yet always joyful; as a beggar but making many wealthy; as not having even one possession and yet possessing the whole world.

Colossians 1.9: Via this [From the day we heard], we also don’t pause [stop] proseuchomenoi [humbly begging of God; praying] to Theos over you and asking that you be made replete [complete] in recognition of His thelematos [determination, choice, decision, decree] in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. And that you be made to walk appropriately of the Kuriou, compliant to all in every good work; that you are being fertile and growing into the recognition of Theos in all dunamei, being empowered [enabled] down [according] to the great vigor of His glory to all a hupomone and makrothumian; that you amidst charas [cheerfulness, calm delight, joy] eucharistountes [are gratefully giving thanks] to the Father to qualify us to the portion of the lot of the hagion [holy, sacred, consecrated ones; saints] in the Light [Jesus].

Luke 5.7: Then be makrothumeo, brothers, until the return of the Kuriou. LO! the farmer awaits the precious fruit of the earth, being makrothumon over it until it might receive the early and the later ueton [rain]. You also be makrothumesate! Sterizate [securely set, make steadfast] your hearts because the return of the Kuriou has drawn near. Not bring pressure [stress] down against one another, brothers, in order that you not katakrithete [are distinguished, are judged, are put on trial]. LO! the krites [judge] stands in front of the door. As an example of suffering hardship and of makrothunias, my brothers, take the prophetas who spoke in the name [authority] of the Kuriou. LO! we pronounce those enduring, fortunate. You heard of the hupomone of Job, and you know the Kuriou’s telos [end] for him; that the Kurios is extremely compassionate and merciful.

James 1.2: Count it all joy, my Brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your pisteos [faith, reliance] works hupomone. Now let hupomone have its perfect [complete] work in order that you may be perfect and complete, having lacked in not even one thing.

Hebrews 6.9: But we want each one of you to show the same spouden [speed, alacrity, eagerness] to the full assurance of the elpidos unto the telos [point aimed at, the end of this age], in order that you aren’t caused to be dull but caused to be imitators of those inheriting the promises via pisteos and makrothumias.

Hebrews 10.35: Then don’t cast away your confidence which has megalen reward. For you have need of hupomones, in order that, having done the thelema [determination, choice, decision, decree] of Theos, you may obtain the epaggelian [announcement, proclamation, promise]. For “yet a micron of time, the coming One will come and not delay but the just will live emergent from pisteos” and “if he draws back My psuche [soul, life, psyche, ego] isn’t pleased in him” [added by Paul from another Scripture].

Hebrews 12: So, we having such a cloud of witnesses encircling us, putting [throwing] away [behind] every weight [an Olympics dash racing metaphor] and the easily surrounded hamartian [misses of the mark or goal; errors, offenses, sins], let us run the race set before us via hupomones; looking to the Author and Finisher of our pisteos -- Jesus. Who against the charas set before Him, endured the stake, despising shame and sat down at the right of Theos’ throne.

Lesson 116 Amplified -- CHARA

 CHARA

American: cheerfulness, calm delight, joy

Hebrew Aramaic: shashay

A Christian’s life is adorned by a bright flame of joy burning in the psuche. Through trial and travail this inner graciousness from Theos [Father God] carries one through and provides a continual assurance that one is safe in the loving arms of Theos.

Almost Greek: (Words in italics are translator’s additions.)

1st Thessalonians 1.2: We always eucharistoumen [gratefully give thanks] to Theos concerning you all, continually making mention of you in our proseuchon [humbly begging God, praying], remembering your work of pistis [faith, reliance], draining effort of agape [unconditional love] and the cheerful endurance of our Kurios Jesus, the Christos [Anointed One, Messiah, Christ] before our Theos and Father; knowing your election, brothers, you having been egapemenois [unconditionally loved] by Theos. Our euaggelion [good news, gospel, evangel] came to you not only in logos [word] but also in dunamis [force, power] and in the Hagios [Holy, Sacred, Consecrated] Pneuma [Wind, Breath, Spirit] and in much assurance. You know what kind of men we were, in [among] you via you [for your sakes]. You were caused to be imitators of us and of the Kurios, receiving the logos under much stress with the charas of the Hagios Pneuma so to be caused to be patterns to all those having pistis in Macedonia and Achaia.

1st Thessalonians 2.19: For what is our elpis [expectation, hope] or chara or crown of boasting? Indeed, isn’t it you in front of our Kurios Jesus, the Christos, in His coming? For you are my glory and chara.

2nd Corinthians 7.4: Great is my outspokenness [frankness] toward you; much is my boasting over you. I have been filled with paraklesie [imploration, urging, exhortation, encouragement, consolation]. I super-abound with chara over all our [my] stress.

Romans 14.16: Accordingly, not let the to-you-good foods be vilified, for the kingdom of Theos isn’t eating and drinking; conversely, it is dikaiosune [equity, justification, rightness] and peace and chara in the Hagios Pneuma.

Romans 15.13: Now may the Theos of elpidos make all of you complete with charas and peace in pisteuein (to make you superabound in elpidi) in the dunamei of the Hagios Pneuma.

Colossians 1.9: Via this [From the day we heard], we also don’t pause [stop] proseuchomenoi to Theos over you and asking that you be made replete [complete] in recognition of His thelematos [determination, choice, decision, decree] in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. And that you be made to walk appropriately of the Kuriou, compliant to all in every good work; that you are being fertile and growing into the recognition of Theos in all dunamei, being empowered [enabled] down [according] to the great vigor of His glory to all a cheerful endurance and makrothumian [forbearing, patiently restraining]; that you amidst charas eucharistountes [are gratefully giving thanks] to the Father to qualify us to the portion of the lot of the hagion [holy, consecrated ones; saints] in the Light. He Who rescued us emergent from the authority of shadiness and transferred us into the Kingdom of the Son of His agapes.

Philippians 1.21: For to me to live is the Christos and to die is gain but if I am to live on in the flesh, this will be to me fruitful work and I not know which I should choose for myself. For I am hard pressed emergent from the two choices, having much stronger the longing to depart and to be with the Christo but to remain in the flesh is necessary via [for] you. And being convinced of this, I know that I will stay with all of you for your progress and charan of your pisteos, in order that your boast may superabound in Jesus, the Christo, (Him in me) via my return again to you.

ISAIAH 61.1: “The Ruwach [Pneuma] of the Adonay YHWH is upon Me for YHWH has anointed Me to call out good news to the depressed. He has sent Me to bandage the burst heart; to call out freedom to those transported into captivity and the opening of confinement to the yoked; to call out a year of delight of YHWH and a day of revenge of our Elohiym; [Triune God] to sigh over [comfort] the whole of the mourners, to put [grant] consolation and joy to the mourners of [in] Zion; to give them embellishment instead of the depths of ashes, the oil of sasown instead of the depths of mourning; the vestment of praise instead of the depths of the ruwach [pneuma] of feebleness and all of this such that one calls out to them: ‘Strong of rightness, plants of YHWH,’ to make Him gleam.”

Philippians 2.25: Now, I deemed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditon [“Fair”, “Graceful”], my and your brother, co-worker, co-campaigner , and apostolon [delegate, ambassador, apostle] and servant to my needs, since now he has yearning for you all and is distressed, in as much as you had heard that he had been sick nearly to death. But Theos had compassion on him and not only on him but also upon me, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow. Accordingly, I sent him sooner in order that, seeing him again, you may rejoice so I also may be less sorrowful [concerned] about you. Accordingly, receive him in the Kurio with all charas and truly hold this one precious because via the work of the Christou he nearly came so far as death, disregarding his psuche [soul, life, psyche, ego] in order that he fill up the deficiency of your service to me.

Luke 1.8: Now, it was caused to be in the arrangement of his daily serving as a priest, he was in front of [before] Theos down to custom of the priestly function. His lot was to burn incense while entering into the Kuriou [“Holy of Holies” or most sacred room of the Temple]. And all the populace of the people was proseuchomenon outside at the hour of the burning of incense. Now, he gazed wide-eyed at an aggelos [messenger, angel] of the Kuriou who was standing emergent from the right of the altar of incense. And Zekaryahuw [in Hebrew; Zacharias in Greek] was agitated, seeing the angel and fear seized upon him but the aggelos said to him,

“Not fear, Zekaryahuw, since your deesis [petition, request, prayer] was heard and your gune [woman, wife] (Elizabeth) will give birth to a son to you and you shall call the name of the same, John. And he shall be to you chara and exultation and many will rejoice over his birth for he will be megas in the face [eyes] of the Kuriou and he may imbibe neither wine nor hard liquor and he will be filled of the Hagios Pneuma, even as emerging from his mother’s womb. And he will revert many of the sons of Israel onto the Kurion their Theos. And he will precede Him [Jesus] in His face [sight] in the Hagios Pneuma and the dunamei of Elijah to revert the hearts of the fathers upon their children and to revert the insubordinate into the mentality of the dikaion [equitable, just, right]; to prepare for the Kurio a people having been thoroughly prepared.”

MALACHI 4.6: And He shall turn back the hearts of the fathers to the sons and the sons to their fathers.

[Luke continues] And Zekaryahuw said to the aggelos,

“Down to what shall I know this to be true? for I am an old man and my gune is also advanced in her days.”

Beginning to speak, the aggelos said to him,

“I am the angel Gabriel, the one standing by in the face of [before] Theos and I was sent forth to speak to you and to euaggelisasthai [announce good news, evangelize] to you of these events. And LO! you will be mute and unable to speak until the day on which these events are caused to be anti which [because] you not episteusas [had faith] in my logois [words] which same will be fulfilled to their set time.”

Luke 2.8: And in the same territory there were shepherds camping out and keeping guard (in the night) over their flock. And LO! an aggelos of the Kuriou stood before them and the glory of the Kuriou illuminated all around them, making it as light as day. And they feared with megan fear and the aggelos said to them,

“Not fear for LO! I euaggelizouai to you of megalen charan which will be to all the people because on the [this] day was born to you a Soter [Deliverer, Savior] who is the Christos, the Kurios, in the City of David. And this is a semeion [sign, indication] to you. You will find a baby (having been swathed in burial strips) lying in a manger.”

And suddenly there were caused to be with the aggelos a throng of the heavenly army praising Theos and saying,

“Glory in the Highest [Heaven] to Theos and upon the earth, peace in men of His satisfaction.”

And it was caused to be (as the aggelos went off from them into Ouranon) that the men (also the shepherds) said to one another,

“Now, let us traverse up to Bethlehem and let us see this rhema [utterance] having been caused to be, which the Kurios has made known to us.”

Luke 8.9: Now, the mathetai [learners, pupils, disciples] of Him, saying,

“What might be [mean] this parable?”

Now, He said,

“To you it was given to know the musteria [secrets, mysteries] of the Kingdom of Theos but to the rest it was given in parables in order that looking at, they might not see and hearing, they might not comprehend.”

ISAIAH 6.9: And I clearly heard the voice of the Adonay [Kurios: Lord, Master] saying,

“Whom shall I send out and who shall walk for Us?”

Then, I said,

“Here am I, send me out.”

And He said,

“Walk and tell this people: ‘Attentively hear but not understand and seeing, see but not know. Make the heart of this people shiny [oily, gross, fat] and make his eyes stare, lest he see with his eyes and attentively hear with his ears and with his heart understand and turn back to Me and One heals him.’”

[Luke continues] “Now, this is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the Logos of Theos and those near the road are those hearing, then comes the diabolos [leader to shame, devil, satyr] and takes away the Logon from their heart in order that (not pisteusantes [having faith] they may not sothesin [be made safe, saved]. Now, those upon the rock are those who hear the Logon. They receive it amidst charas, and these are those who, not having root, pisteuousi [have faith] forward to [for] a time and in time of testing they withdraw [pull back].

Luke 10.17: Now, the seventy returned amidst charas, saying,

“Kurie! even the daimonion [demonic beings, demons] submitted to us in Your name [authority].”

But He said to them,

“I was a spectator of Satanan descending from the Ouranou in the manner of lightning. LO! I have given to you the privilege [authority] to trample on snakes and scorpions and upon all the dunamin of the echthrou [hateful one] and not even one thing (in no way) shall harm you but not rejoice in this (that the pneumata [winds, breaths, spirits] submit to you) but rather that your names are written in the Ouranois [Heavens].”

Luke 15.3: Now, He spoke toward them a parable, saying,

“What man emergent from you, having a hundred sheep and losing one emergent from them, doesn’t leave down [behind] the ninety-nine in alone and goes toward the lost one until he finds it? And finding it, he puts it on his shoulder rejoicing. And coming to his house, he convenes his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my sheep having been lost!’ I say to you that this chara is in Ourano over one hamartolo [one missing the mark or goal, erring, offending, sinning]; turning to God, more than over the ninety-nine dikaiois [just ones] who haven’t need of metanoias [reversal, repentance, compunction].”

Luke 24.36: Now, after they said these words, Jesus Himself suddenly stood in the middle of them [changed dimensions again?] and says to them,

“Shalom [safety, peace, health, happiness, prosperity, friendship] to you!”

But being caused to be frightened and in fear, they thought they were spectators of a pneuma [spirit, ghost]. And He said to them,

Why are you agitated? and why do imaginations arise in your hearts? See by My hands, and My feet that I AM HE! Touch Me and see because a pneuma hasn’t flesh and bones, just as you are spectators of Me having.”

But while they were still apistounton [without faith], from charas and marveling, He said to them,

“Have you something edible here?”

They handed Him a piece of cooked fish and a piece of honeycomb. And taking these, He ate them before their faces.

Luke 24.50: Now, He led them forth out as far as Bethany [“House of Figs”, a village on the southeastern slope of the Mount of Olives, about two miles east of Jerusalem] and raising up His hands, He eulogesen [fine spoke, commended, blessed] them. And it was caused to be in His eulogein of them, He withdrew from them. And they, proskunesantes [having worshipped, as a dog licks his master’s hand] Him, returned into Jerusalem amidst megales charas and were via all [continually] in the Temple ainountes [praising] and eulogountes Theos. Amen!

Acts 8.4: Accordingly, those being sown traveled throughout, euaggelizomenoi the Logon. Now, Philip [“Lover of Horses”] going down into a town of Samaria, he ekerussen [proclaimed, heralded] the Christon to them. And the ochloi [crowds] unanimously paid attention to that being said via Philip, both in their hearing and in their looking at the semeia which he was doing for many of those were holding impure pneumata. Shouting with a megale phone [sound, tone, noise, voice], they exercheto [issued forth]. Now, many enfeebled [paralyzed] and limping [lame] etherapeuthesan [were relieved] and there was megale chara in that town.

Acts 13.46: ..… “LO! we turn to the ethne for the Kurios commanded us:

‘I have placed you into a luminescence of the ethnon. You are to be working for soterian [rescue, safety, salvation] until [as far as] the ends of the earth.’”

ISAIAH 49.6: He [YHWH] said,

“Is it too light [trifling] that You should be to Me a servant to rouse up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the delivered [preserved] ones of Israel? I will also give You for a light of the gowi [ethnoi] to be My deliverance [salvation] to the end of the earth.”

[Acts continues] Now, hearing this, the ethnon rejoiced and rendered glory to the Logon of the Kuriou and as many as episteusan [had faith] were assigned into eternal life. Now, the Logos of the Kuriou was carried via the whole territory but the Judaeans incited the devout, well-formed [high-ranking] gunaikas and the chiefs of the city and roused persecution upon Paul and Joses Bar Nabas and they ejected the same from their borders. Now, they (vigorously shaking off the dust of their feet as a judgment upon them [the Judaeans]) came into Iconium the capitol of ancient Lycaonia. Now, the mathetai were made full of charas and the Hagios Pneuma.

James 1.2: Count it all charan, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your pisteos [reliance, faith] works hupomone [cheerful endurance]. Now, let hupomone have its perfect [complete] work in order that you may be perfect and complete, having lacked in not even one thing.

Hebrews 10.32: But call to mind the former days in which (having been enlightened), you endured much struggle [soul conflict] of sufferings; this conflict (being exposed both to afflictions and to reproaches) and this issue of being caused to be koinonoi [sharers, partners] of those so living. For in fact, you also suffered together with me in my bonds and accepted the seizure of your possessions with charas, knowing yourselves to have a better and abiding possession in Ouranois [Heavens].

Hebrews 12: So, we having such a cloud of witnesses encircling us, putting [throwing] away [behind] every weight [an Olympics dash racing metaphor] and the easily surrounded hamartian, let us run the race set before us via cheerful endurance, looking to the Author and Finisher of our pisteos -- Jesus. Who against the charas set before Him, endured the stake, despising shame and sat down at the right of Theos’ throne.

Hebrews 13.15: Via Him [Jesus], let us always offer up a sacrifice [offering] of praise to Theos, that is the fruit of the lips confessing to His name. But don’t be forgetful of doing good and sharing for Theos is well-pleased with such sacrifices. Obey those leading you and submit to them for they watch over your psuchon [souls, lives, psyches, egos]; giving an account in order that they may do this with charas and not with groaning for this would be profitless to you.

1st John 1.4: I write these words to you in order that your chara may be complete.

John 3.27: John Bar Zekaryahuw answered,

“A man cannot receive even one thing unless it has been given to him emergent from Ouranou. You (yourselves) are my witnesses that I said, ‘I am not the Christos but have been sent before that One as His forerunner.’ The one having the bride is the bridegroom but the friend of the ‘groom (who stands by listening to the ‘groom) heartily rejoices via His phone. Then, this my chara is now fulfilled. That One must increase in prominence; I must decrease in prominence.”

John 15.7: [Jesus speaking]

If you remain in Me and My rhemata [utterances] remain in you, you will ask whatever you thelete [determine, choose, decide] and it shall be caused to be to you. In this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and that you will be mathetai to Me. Just as the Father egapese Me, I also egapesa you. You remain in My agape if you keep My commands, just as I have kept My Father’s commands and remain in His agape. I have spoken these words to you in order that My chara remain in you and that your chara may be totally filled up.

Lesson 115 Amplified -- ECHTHROS

 ECHTHROS

American: hateful or a hater, an enemy

Hebrew Aramaic: owyeb --a hater, an enemy

Chaldee: sane or sene -- to hate

Chaldee: taab -- to loathe

ECHTHRA

American: hostility

MISEO

American: to detest

STUGETOI

American: hateful

Here we have four Koine Greek words, two Chaldee words and a Hebrew Aramaic word that are all in the realm of hatred. Taken altogether, these words appear nearly one hundred twenty times in Almost Greek, including interspersed references to the Old Testament. We are enjoined to agape our brethren in the Kingdom of Theos. Hatred is a characteristic of the domain of the devil and those whom he has seduced.

Almost Greek: (Words in italics are translator’s additions.)

1st Corinthians 15.20: But now the Christos has been awakened from dead. He was caused to be a beginning of sacrifice [the “first fruits”] of those having been put to sleep; for since death is via a man [Adam] and via a Man [Jesus] anastasis [a standing up again, resurrection] of the dead. For as in Adam the whole human race dies, so also in the Christo [Anointed One, Messiah, Christ], all will be made alive; but each in his own order [turn]. First the beginning of the sacrifice (the Christos), then comes the telos [point aimed at, end of this age], when He surrenders the kingdom to Theos (also the Father); when He [Jesus] katargese [renders entirely idle; useless] all commencement [rank], all privilege [authority] and all dunamin [force, power]. It is right for Him to reign until He [Father] wishes to place all the [His] echthrous under His [Jesus’] feet. The last echthros one katargeitai [rendered entirely idle; useless] is Death, for He [Father] subordinated all under His [Jesus’] feet.

Psalm 14.1: “They acted corruptly. They did taab [hatefully] perform; none doing good. YHWH looked down (from aloft) upon the sons of Adam to see if there existed any seeking Elohiym.

Psalm 53.1: “They acted corruptly. They did taab [hateful] perversity. None is doing good. Elohiym looked down upon the sons of Adam (from aloft) to see if there existed any seeking Elohiym.

Colossians 1:15: Jesus, Who is the eikon [image, likeness, statue, icon] of the invisible Theos, the firstborn of all creation because in Him all was created: the things in the ouranois [skys, heavens] and the things upon the earth; the seen [visible] and the invisible, whether thrones or lordships or rank or authorities. All has been created via Him and to Him and He IS before the birth of the whole of creation and all is presented in Him. Also, He is the Head of the somatos [body], the ekklesias [assembly, church]. He, Who is the beginning, firstborn emergent from dead in order that He may be caused to be in first place in all because in Him all repletion [completion] was approved to dwell and via Him to completely reconcile all to Himself [Father], making peace via the blood of His stake [cross] via Him; whether the things upon the earth or the things in the ouranois. You were then being estranged [alienated] and echthrous [haters, enemies] in nous [intellect, mind, understanding], in ponerois [hurtful] works. Yet just now, He completely reconciled in the Somati of His flesh, via His death, to stand beside [present] you hagious [holy, sacred, consecrated] and unblemished and unaccused before Him [Father] if indeed you remain in the pistei [faith, reliance], having been founded and immovable and not being moved away from the elpidos [expectation, hope] of the euaggelion [good news, gospel, evangel] which you hear keruchthentos [proclaimed, heralded] in all creation under Ouranon [Heaven], of which I (Paul) was caused to be a servant.

Philippians 3.17: Brothers! be fellow imitators of me and observe those walking thus, just as you have a tupon [a die set, a shaper, a model, a type] in me. For there are walking all around those of whom I often told you and now tell you (even weeping), the echthrous [haters] of the stake of the Christou whose end is destruction; whose belly is their theos [god] and who glory in their shame; who think on the earthly. For our citizenship is in Ouranois [Heavens]. Emergent from there, we also fully expect a Sotera [Deliverer, Savior] the Kuriou Jesus, the Christou, Who will transfigure [transform] our soma of humiliation into it being caused to be conformed [similar] to the somati of His glory down to the energeian [activity, efficiency] of His capability, even to subordinate everything to Himself.

Luke 6.27: [Jesus speaking] “Accordingly, to you (those hearing) I say, ‘Agapate [unconditionally love] your echthrous. Do well to those detesting you. Eulogeite [fine speak, commend, bless, praise] those cursing you and proseuchesthe [humbly beg of God; pray] over those insulting [slandering] you. To those thumping you on the left jaw, also present the other side. And those taking from you your outer garment, also not deny them your shirt. Now, to all asking of you, give and from those taking away yours, don’t demand them back. And just as you wish men to do to you, you also do similarly to them. And if you agapete those agapontas you, what sort of charis [graciousness] is due to you? for hamartoloi [missers of the mark or goal, erring, offenders, sinners] also agapontas them. And if you do well to those doing well to you, what sort of charis is due to you? for hamartoloi do the same. And if you loan near [to] whom you elpizete [expect, hope] to receive back in full, what sort of charis is due to you? for hamartoloi also lend to hamartoloi in order that they may receive similar in full. Rather agapete your echthrous and do well and lend, fully expecting not even one cent in return and many wages will be accruing to you and you will be sons of the Highest because He is chrestos [useful] to the ungrateful and the ponerous [hurtful]. Accordingly, be caused to be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate. Not krinete [distinguish, judge, put on trial] and you won’t at all be krithete. Not katadiazete [condemn] and you won’t at all be katadiskasthete. Fully free and you will be fully freed. Give and it will be given to you, kalon [beautiful, virtuous] measure (shaken and tamped and piled over the top) shall they give into your bosom for in the same measure by which you measure out will gifts be meted out to you.’”

Luke 10.17: Now, the seventy returned amidst joy, saying, “Kurie! even the daimonion [demonic beings, demons] submitted to us in Your name [authority].”But He [Jesus] said to them, “I was a spectator of Satanan descending from the Ouranou [Heaven] in the manner of lightning. LO! I have given to you the privilege [authority] to trample on snakes and scorpions and upon all the dunamin [force, power] of the echthrou [hateful one] and not even one thing (in no way) shall harm you but not rejoice in this (that the pneumata [winds, breaths, spirits] submit to you) but rather that your names are written in the Ouranois [Heavens].”

Psalm 110.1: A Psalm of David: A statement of YHWH to my Adonay: “Sit down (as Judge) at My right until I place Your owyeb a stool for Your foot.”

Luke 19.41: And as He [Jesus] drew near, seeing the city, He wept aloud over it, saying,

“If you knew (even you), even at least in this your day, the things toward your shalom [safety, peace, health, happiness, prosperity, friendship]! but now they have been hidden from your eyes because days shall come upon you and your echthroi will erect palisades about you and will encircle you and will hem you in on all sides and will raze you (and your children in you) and won’t leave in you stone upon stone because you not knew the time set for your inspection.”

James 4: From where, in you, come warfare and battles? Isn’t it from here, emergent from your lusts warring in your members? You long for but haven’t. You murder and zeloute [have heat] and aren’t able to attain. You war and you battle, and you don’t have, because you don’t ask God. You ask and not receive because you ask kakos [worthlessly] in order that you may spend on your lusts. Moichoi [adulterers] and moichalides [adulteresses]! don’t you know that the friendship of [with] the kosmou [universe, world, cosmos] is echthra [hostility] of Theos? Then, whoever boulethe [wills, resolves, intends] to be a friend of the kosmou, is shown to be an echthros of Theos. Or do you think that the Graphe [Scripture, part of Old Testament] vainly asks, “Yearns the Hagios Pneuma (Who has dwelt in us) to ill will?” But He gives greater charin; therefore, it says, “Theos opposes the proud, but He gives charin to the humiliated.”

PSALM 138.6: “... though YHWH is exalted, yet He sees the depressed, but He knows the proud at a distance.”

PROVERBS 3.34: [YHWH] “If He scoffs at the scoffers, yet He gives chen [charis] to the depressed.”

Hebrews 1.8: But as to the Son, He says, “Your throne, O Theos! is to the ages of the ages [forever]. The rod [scepter] of Your rectitude is the rod of Your kingdom. You egapesas dikaiosunen [equity, justification, rightness] and emisesas lawlessness; therefore, Theos (Your Theos) anointed You with oil of gladness above Your fellows.

Ephesians 5.28: Men ought so to agapan their gunaikas [women, wives] as their own somata [bodies]. The one agapon his gunaika agapa himself. For not even one man emisesen his own flesh but he nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Kurios also nourishes and cherishes the ekklesian [assembly, church] because we are members of His somatos (of His flesh and His bones). For this reason, a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall adhere [bond] to his gunaika and the two shall be (as flesh) one!

Matthew 24.3: Now, He sitting down upon the Mount of Olives, we mathetai [learners, pupils, disciples] approached Him down to Himself, saying, “Tell us at what time these events will be and what will be the semeion [sign, indication] of Your being near and of the entire completion of the age?” And responding, Jesus said to us, “Watch out that not any of you causes anyone to go astray. For many will come upon My name, saying, ‘I AM the Christos.’ And many will cause others to go astray. But you are about to hear of warfare and rumors of warfare. Don’t be upset! For it is necessary for all of this to be (caused to be); conversely, it not yet is the telos [the point aimed at, the end of this age]. For ethnos [nation, race, non-Jew, gentile] will be roused upon [against] ethnos and kingdom upon kingdom and there will be famine and plagues and commotion [gales and earthquakes] down in various places but all these occurrences are merely the beginning pangs [birth contractions]. Then is when they will surrender you to torture and will kill you and you will be misoumenoi [detested] by all the ethnon via My name. And then is when many skandalisthesontai [will be tripped, will be entrapped, will be scandalized] and paradosousi [will surrender] one another and they misesousin [will detest] one another. And many pseudoprophetai [false prophets] will be aroused and will cause many to go astray. And via abounding lawlessness, the agape of many will chill but the person enduring to the telos, the same sothesetai [will be made safe, will be saved]. And this euaggelion of the Kingdom keruchthesetai [will be proclaimed, will be heralded] in the whole of the earth to evidence to all the ethnesi and then is when the telos will arrive.”

John 3.16: [Jesus speaking] “For Theos so greatly egapesen [unconditionally loved] the kosmon (so also), He even gave His only begotten Son in order that anyone pisteuon [putting their faith, reliance] into Him shouldn’t perish but should have eternal life. For Theos didn’t send His Son into the kosmon in order that He might krine [distinguish, judge, to put on trial] the kosmon; conversely, He sent Him in order that the kosmos sothe [might be saved] via Him. One pisteuon into Him not krinetan [is distinguished, is judged, is put on trial] but he not pisteuon into Him already kekritai [has been distinguished, has been judged, has been put on trial] because he not pepisteuken [has had reliance, has had faith] into the name [authority] of the only begotten Son of Theos. And the krisis [decision, judgment rendered, verdict] is this: That the Light has come into the kosmon and the people egapesan shadiness more than the Light for their deeds were ponera [hurtful]. For everyone practicing phaula [foulness, wickedness] misei [detests] the Light and doesn’t come toward the Light in order that his deeds may not be exposed but he who practices truth comes to the Light in order that it may be revealed that his deeds have been done in Theos.”

John 7.6: [Jesus speaking to his half-brothers] “My time isn’t yet here but your time is always ready. The kosmos cannot be expected to mesein you but it does misei Me because I testify (concerning it) that its works are ponera [hurtful]. You go up to this feast! I AM not yet going to this feast because My time hasn't yet been made replete.”

John 15.7: [Jesus speaking] If you remain in Me and My rhemata [utterance] remains in you, you will ask whatever you thelete [choose, decide] and it shall be caused to be to you. In this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and that you will be mathetai to Me. Just as the Father egapese Me, I also egapesa you. You remain in My agape if you keep My commands, just as I have kept My Father’s commands and remain in His agape. I have spoken these words to you in order that My joy remain in you and that your joy may be totally filled up. This is My command: that you agapate one another just as I egapesa [have unconditionally loved] you. Not even one man has greater agapen than this: that anyone lay down his psuchen [soul, life, psyche, ego] for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. I no longer call you slaves for the slave not knows what his kurios does, but I called you friends because I made known to you all which I heard from My Father. You haven't selected Me, but I selected you and planted you in order that you should go and should bear much fruit; that your fruit should remain and that whatever you ask Father in My name [authority], He may give this to you. These words I command you: that you agapate one another. If the kosmos mesei you, you know that before [first] it memiseken [has detested] Me. If you were emergent from the kosmou, the kosmos philei [would have loved] you as its own but because you aren't emergent from the kosmou (but I selected you emergent from the kosmou), therefore the kosmos misei you. Remember the logou [word] which I said to you: ‘A slave isn’t greater than his kuriou.’ If they pursued [persecuted] Me, they also will pursue you. If they kept My logon, they also will keep yours. But all these persecutions they will do to you because of MY NAME [authority] for they don't know the One sending Me. Unless [If] I not came and not had spoken to them, they wouldn't hamartian [have had sin] but now, they have no excuse concerning their hamartias. The one mison [detesting] Me also misei [detests] My Father. If I not did in [among] them the works which not even one man did, they not hamartian [would be sinning] but now, they both have seen and memisekasi [have detested] both Me and My Father. They have done this in order that the logos may be fulfilled that has been written in their Law: ‘Emisesan [They detested] Me for not even one reason.’”

PSALM 35.19 Those sane [hating] Me without cause ….

Titus 3: Quietly remind them to subordinate themselves to chiefs and authorities (to submit to authority), to be ready toward all good work (vilifying not even one person), to be amachous [without-fighting, peaceable], all appropriate [moderate], showing gentleness toward all men. For we were also once without understanding, unpersuadable, caused to stray, slaving for lusts and motley sensual pleasures, passing time in kakia [worthlessness] and ill-will; stugetoi [hateful]; misountes [hating] one another. But chrestotes [usefulness] and philanthropia [love of mankind] shone forth from Abba Theos, our Soteros, not emergent from works of dikaiosune which we had done but down to his compassion, He esosen [made safe, saved] us via bathing of spiritual rebirth and renovation of the Hagios Pneuma, Whom He copiously poured forth upon us via Jesus, the Christou (our Soteros) in order that dikaiothentes [being justified] by that charity [graciousness], we might be caused to be heirs down to the elpida [expectation, hope] of eternal life.
