Lesson 48 Amplified – ANASTASIS

ANASTASIS

American: a standing up again, resurrection

EXANASTASIS

American: arising from death, resurrection

This is the goal of all who put their faith into Jesus, the Christos [Anointed One, Messiah, Christ] as their only door to everlasting life.

Almost Greek: (Words in italics are translator’s additions.)

1st Corinthians15.12: Now, if the Christos kerussetai [proclaimed, heralded] that He was awakened emergent from dead, how can some say in you [Sadducees] that an anastasis of the dead isn’t [doesn't happen]? But if anastasis of the dead isn’t, neither has the Christos been awakened.

1st Corinthians15.20: But now, the Christos has been awakened from dead. He was caused to be a beginning of sacrifice [the “first fruits”] of those having been put to sleep for since death is via a man [Adam] and via a Man [Jesus] anastasis of the dead. For as in Adam the whole human race dies, so also, in the Christo all will be made alive but each in his own order [turn]. First the beginning of the sacrifice (the Christos), then comes the telos [the point aimed at, the end of this age], when He surrenders the kingdom to Theos (also the Father); when He [Jesus] katargese [renders entirely idle; useless] all commencement [rank], all privilege [authority] and all dunamin [force, power]. It is right for Him to reign until He [Father] wishes to place all the hateful under His [Jesus’] feet. The last hateful one katargeitai [rendered entirely idle; useless] is Death for He [Father] subordinated all under His [Jesus’] feet.

1st Corinthians 15.40: There are above-the-sky [heavenly] somata [bodies] and worldly somata but different indeed are the above-the-sky glory and the worldly glory. There is the glory of the sun and the different glory of the moon and the different glories of the stars. For star differs from star in glory. So also, is anastasis of the dead. The body is sown in decay; it is awakened in imperishability. It is sown in infamy; it is awakened in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is awakened in dunamei. It is sown a sensual soma; it is awakened a spiritual soma.

Luke 20.34: And answering, Jesus said to them, “The sons of this age marry, and daughters are given in marriage but those deemed entirely deserving of that age (to attain anastaseos emergent from dead) neither marry nor are given in marriage for they haven’t to die anymore for they are isaggeloi [like angels] and are sons of Theos; being sons of the anastaseos.

Acts 2.30: David being then a prophetes [before teller, prophet] and knowing that with an oath sworn to him by Theos, that emergent from the fruit of his loins (down to his flesh), God was going to stand up the Christon to be seated upon His throne. David before seeing this, he spoke concerning the anastaseos of the Christou, that neither was His psuche left down into Haides [Unseen, subterranean world of the dead, Hades] nor did His flesh see decay.

Matthew 22.29: Now responding, Jesus said to them, “You cause to go astray, not knowing the Graphas [Scriptures, Old Testament] nor the dunamin of Theos for in the anastasei neither do they marry nor are given in marriage; conversely, they are as the aggeloi [messengers, angels] in Ourano [Heaven]. But concerning the anastaseos of the dead, haven’t you read that spoken to you from Theos? saying, ‘I AM the Theos of Abraham and the Theos of Isaac and the Theos of Jacob.’ Theos isn’t Theos of the dead; conversely, of the living.”

John 5.26: For just as the Father has life in Himself, so He has given to the Son to have life in Himself. The Father has given the Son ezsusian [privilege, authority] to execute krisin [accusation, condemnation, judgment] because He is also a Son of man. Don't marvel at this for the time is coming when all those who are in their tombs shall hear His phones [sound, tone, noise, voice] and they will come out; those having done good to an anastasin of life; those having practiced psaula [foul, wicked] to an anastasin of kriseos and their sentence.”

DANIEL 12.2: … many of those sleeping in the dust of the earth shall awake; some to eternal life and some to reproach and eternal loathing.

Revelation 20.4: And I saw thrones and they that sat down upon them, and krima [deciding, rendering judgment, bringing a verdict] was given to them. And the psuchas [souls, lives, psyches, egos] of those having been beheaded via their testimony of Jesus and via the Logon [Word] of Theos and which same not prosekunesan [had worshiped, as a dog licks his master's hand] the beast nor its eikona [image, likeness, statue, icon] and hadn’t received the charagma [scratch, etching, tattoo, scar, mark; microchip?] upon their forehead and [nor] upon their hand and they lived and reigned amidst the Christou for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead [those in Hell?] didn't recover life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first anastasis. Supremely blest and hagios [holy, sacred, consecrated] is the one having a share in the first anastasis. Over these, the second death hasn't authority but, conversely, they will be priests of Theos and of the Christou and will reign amidst Him for a thousand years.

Lesson 47 Amplified – EUCHARISTIA

EUCHARISTIA

American: gratefully giving thanks

EUCHARISTEO

American: express gratitude, give thanks

EUCHARISTOS

American: grateful, thankful

There is only one appropriate state of mind for the resident of the Kingdom of God -- gratefulness. If we lose sight of the wondrous gift of Theos to us, we may develop negative attitudes.

Almost Greek: (Words in italics are translator’s additions.)

Romans 14.4: Who are you krinon [distinguishing, judging, putting on trial] another’s servant? To his own Kurio [Lord, Master], he stands or falls but he will stand for Theos is dunatos [forceful, powerful] enough to make him stand. Indeed, one krinei [judges] a day above another day; one krinei every day alike. Let each be completely convinced in his own nous [intellect, mind, understanding]; he observing the day, observes to the Kurio; he not observing, not observes to the Kurio. He eating meat, he eats to the Kurio; he eucharistei to Theos for the food. He not eating meat, not eats to the Kurio and eucharistei to Theos.

Colossians 1.9: Via this [From the day we heard], we also don’t pause [stop] proseuchomenoi [humbly begging, praying] to Theos over you and asking that you be made replete [complete] in recognition of His thelematos [determination, choice, decision, decree] in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. And that you be made to walk appropriately of the Kuriou, compliant to all in every good work; that you are being fertile and growing into the recognition of Theos in all dunamei [force, power], being empowered [enabled] down [according] to the great vigor of His glory to all a hupomonen [cheerful endurance] and makrothumian [forbearing, patiently restraining]; that you amidst joy eucharistountes [are gratefully giving thanks] to the Father to qualify us to the portion of the lot [as in drawing by lot] of the hagion [holy ones, sacred ones, consecrated ones, saints] in the Light. He Who rescued us emergent from the authority of shadiness and transferred us into the Kingdom of the Son of His agapes. He in Whom we have redemption via His blood; the freedom of [from] hamartion [misses of the mark or goal; errors, offenses, sins]. He Who is the eikon [image, likeness, statue, icon] of the invisible Theos, the firstborn of all creation because in Him all was created: the things in the ouranois [skys, heavens] and the things upon the earth; the seen [visible] and the invisible,

Colossians 3.12: Accordingly, dress yourself in the manner of the chosen of Theos: hagioi and egapemenoi [unconditionally loved], splen [spleen, guts, bowels, sympathy] of pity, chrestoteta [usefulness], humility, gentleness, forbearance; enduring one another and forgiving yourselves. In case anyone (toward any) has a complaint, just as (in fact) the Christos forgave you, so also should you. Above all these things, put on agapen which is the perfect bond. Let the peace of Theos rule in your hearts (to which indeed you were called in one somati [body]) and be eucharistoi. Let the Logos [Word] of the Christou [Anointed One, Messiah, Christ] copiously dwell in you, teaching and nouthetountes [calling attention to, warning, cautioning, admonishing] yourselves in psalmois [psalms], humnos [hymns] and pneumatikais odais [spiritual songs] in your hearts in chariti [thankfullness] to the Kurio. Everything, whatever you do in logos or in work, do all in the name [authority] of the Kuriou Jesus. Eucharistountes via Him to our Theos and Father.

Luke 22.14: And when the hour came, He reclined and the twelve mathetai [learners, pupils, disciples] reclined with Him. And He said to them, “With longing, I wanted to eat this Passover Meal amidst you before the time for Me to suffer for I say unto you that no longer (not in no way) will I eat emergent from it until (when) it is fulfilled in the Kingdom of Theos.” And receiving the cup [that was always set at the Passover Meal for the Messiah or Anointed One], euchariste [having expressed gratitude, having given thanks] to Theos, He said, “Take this and thoroughly divide it up among yourselves for I say to you that not (in no way) will I drink from the produce of the vine until (when) the Kingdom of Theos comes.” And receiving a loaf, euchariste to Theos, He broke it and gave to them, saying, “This is My soma [body] being given over you. Do this to My remembrance.” And in the same way the cup (amidst having dined), saying, “This cup is the New Covenant (in My blood) being poured out over you."

Ephesians 4: Now, the Hagios Pneuma distinctly says that (in later times) some will desist from the pisteos [faith], paying attention to vagrant pneumasi [spirits] and teachings of demons. In pseudologon [lying] hupokrisei [deceit, hypocrisy], having their conscience cauterized, they are barring marriage and advocating abstaining from foods which Theos made to participation amidst eucharistias by those pistois [faithful] and recognizing the truth. For every creation of Theos is kalon [beautiful, virtuous] and not even one thing is to be cast off. Having been received amidst euchariston, it is hagiazetai [made holy] via the Logou of Theos and enteuxis [supplication, prayer].

Lesson 46 Amplified – PROSEUCHE

PROSEUCHE

American meaning: humble begging of God; praying

Hebrew Aramaic: tephillah

PROSEUCHOMAI

to humbly beseech God; to pray

Hebrew Aramaic: palal

We are all urged, throughout the New Blood Covenant, to pray!

Almost Greek: (Words in italics are translator’s additions.)

1st Thessalonians 1.2: We [Paul] always eucharistoumen [gratefully give thanks] to Theos concerning you all, continually making mention of you in our proseuchon, remembering your work of pistis [faith, reliance], draining effort of agape [unconditional love] and the cheerful endurance of our Kurios Jesus, the Christos [Anointed One, Messiah, Christ], before our Theos and Father; knowing your election, brothers, you having been egapemenois [unconditionally loved] by Theos.

1st Thessalonians 5.12: Brothers! We ask you eidenai [to know, to perceive] those laboring among you (presiding over you in the Kurios, admonishing you) and eleistha [to deem, to consider, to esteem] them most exceedingly in agape because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves! We parakaloumen [call near, invite, urge, exhort, encourage] you, brothers, noutheteite [to put in mind, to caution, to warn] the insubordinate, console the faint-hearted, care for the weak, be longsuffering toward all. See that NOT even one person returns kakon [worthless] for kakou [worthless] to anyone but always pursue the good both toward one another and toward all. Always rejoice! Continually proseuchesthe! Eucharisteite [Gratefully give thanks] in all for this is the thelema [determination, choice, decision, decree] of Theos (in Jesus, the Christos) to you. Don’t quench the Hagios Pneuma! Don’t despise propheteia! [inspired speech, prophesy] Test everything; firmly hold the kalos [beautiful, virtuous]; keep back from every form of ponerou [hurtful].

1st Corinthians 14.12: So also, you, since you are zelotai [zealous ones, zealots] of the spiritual to the building up of the ekklesias [assembly, church], seek interpretation in order that you may superabound. Therefore, let him, speaking in a glosse tongue, language], proseuchestho in order that he may be able to dierueneue [thoroughly explain, interpret]. For if I proseuchomai in a glosse, my pneumati [spirit] proseuchomai but my nous [intellect, mind, understanding] is empty. Then, what is to be? I will proseuchomai with the [my] pneumati and I will also proseuchomai with the [my] nous. I sing with the [my] pneumati and I also sing with the [my] nous.

Philippians 4.4: Always chairete [be cheerful, rejoice] in the Kurio! Again, I will say, CHAIRETE! Let your propriety [decorum] be known to all men. The Kurios is near. Not be anxious about even one thing! Conversely, in everything (by proseuche and deesei [petition, request, prayer] amid eucharistias [gratefully giving thanks] to Him, let your requests be made known to Theos. Also, the peace of Theos which surpasses all intellect [understanding] will be the vanguard [scout, guide] of your hearts and your minds in Jesus, the Christo.

Luke 11: And it was caused to be, in His being in a certain place proseuchomenon, as He stopped, one of His matheton [learners, pupils, disciples] said to Him, “Kurie! teach us to proseuchesthai, just as John bar Zekaryahuw taught his mathetas.” Now, He said to them, “Whenever you proseuchesthe, say: Our Father, the One in the Ouranois [Heavens]! Your Name hagiastheto [make holy God]! Make Your Kingdom come. Cause Your thelema [determination, choice, decision, decree] to be as in Ourano, so also upon the earth. Give us down to day by day our needed bread. And aphes [send forth, forsake, forgive] us our hamartias [misses of the mark or goal, errors, offences, sins] for we ourselves also apheilonti all indebted to us. And not carry us into testing, conversely, rescue us from the ponerou [hurtful one].”

Lesson 45 Amplified – PROPHETEIA

PROPHETEIA

American: inspired speech, prophesy

PROPHETEUO

American: before tell, speak under inspiration

singular: PROPHETES -- plural: PROPHETAI

American singular: before teller, prophet -- plural: before tellers, prophets

PROPHETIKOS

American: prophetic

Paul considers this class of words to be of paramount importance. Why? Because we who dwell within the Kingdom of Theos [Father God] wait, with bated breath, to hear a fresh rhema [utterance] from Theos.

Almost Greek:(Words in italics are translator’s additions.)

1st Thessalonians 5.12: Brothers! We ask you eidenai [know, perceive] those laboring among you (presiding over you in the Kurios, admonishing you) and eleistha [deem, consider, esteem] them most exceedingly in agape because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves! We parakaloumen [call near, invite, urge, exhort, encourage] you, brothers, noutheteite [put in mind, caution, warn] the insubordinate, console the faint-hearted, care for the weak, be longsuffering toward all. See that NOT even one person returns kakon [worthless] for kakou [worthless] to anyone but always pursue the good both toward one another and toward all. Always rejoice! Continually proseuchesthe [humbly beg God, pray]! Eucharisteite [Gratefully give thanks] in all for this is the thelema [determination, choice, decision, decree] of Theos (in Jesus, the Christos [Anointed One, Messiah, Christ]) to you. Don’t quench the Hagios Pneuma! Don’t despise propheteia! Test everything; firmly hold the kalos [beautiful, virtuous]; keep back from every form of ponerou [hurtful].

Romans 16.25: Now, to the One capable of sterichan [securely setting, making one steadfast], down to my euaggelion [good news, gospel, evangel] and the kerugma [proclamation] of Jesus, the Christou, down to the revelation of the musteriou [secrets, mysteries], having been kept secret for eternal past ages but now revealed via prophetikon writings, made known down to the command of the eternal Theos, to obedience of pisteos to all the ethne, [nations, races, non-Jews, Gentiles] the sole wise Theos; to Whom (via Jesus, the Christou) be glory to the ages. Amen!

Acts 2.14: But Rock (standing with the eleven) raised up his phonen [sound, tone, noise, voice] and plainly enunciated [declared] to them, “Men! Jews! and all those inhabiting Jerusalem, let this be known to you and take into your ear [listen to] my rhemata [utterance]. For these men aren’t intoxicated as you assume for it is merely the third hour of the day [9 AM]. But this is THAT even being spoken via the prophetou Joel: ‘And it shall be in the final days,’ says Theos, ‘I will pour forth (from My Pneuma) upon all flesh and your sons and daughters propheteusousin [will before tell, will speak under inspiration, will prophesy] and your youths will stare (wide-eyed) at visions and your elders will dream dreams. And in those days (upon My male slaves and upon My female slaves), I will pour forth from My Pneuma and they also propheteusousi. And I will give terata [wonders, miracles] in the ourano [sky, heavens] above and semeia [signs, indications] upon the earth below; blood and fire and mist of smoke. The sunshine will be changed to shadowiness [an eclipse] and the moon into blood [an eclipse] prior to the coming of the megalen [big, large, huge, great] and notable Day of the Kuriou. And it shall be that all (whoever epikalesetai [calls out to, appeals to, invokes] the name [authority] of the Kuriou) sothesetai [will be rescued, will be saved].’”

JOEL 2.28: “… afterward It will be, I will pour forth My Ruwach [Pneuma] upon all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will naba [prophetueo]. Your old will dream dreams. Your youths will see visions. And in those days (on both My male slaves and My female slaves), I will pour forth My Ruwach. I will give mopheth [terata] in the sky and on the earth; blood and fire and timarah [pillars, columns] of smoke. The sun will be turned over to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and awesome Day of YHWH. For it will be that all who qara [epikalesetai: call out to, appeal to, invoke] the name of YHWH will malat [be smooth, slippery, escape] for in Mount Tsijon [Zion] and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance,” as YHWH has said, “and deliverance among the survivors to whom YHWH shall call out.”

Acts 21.8: And having entered the house of Philip the Euaggelistou [preacher of the good news; evangelist], the same being emergent from [one of] the seven original diakonoi [waiters, attendants, servants, deacons], we stayed near [with] the same. Now, to this one were four unmarried daughters who propheteuousai [were before tellers, were speaking under inspiration, were prophesying]. Now, we staying some more days, a certain prophetes came down from Judea, by name Agabus. And coming toward us and requesting Paul’s belt, binding both his hands and his feet, he said, “These words says the Hagios Pneuma, ‘In Jerusalem, the same way will the Judaeans bind the man whose belt this is and will surrender him into the hands of the ethnon.’” Now, when we heard these words, both we and the residents begged the same [Paul] not to go up into Jerusalem.

2nd Peter 1.18: We heard this phone being borne emergent from Ouranou [Heaven], being with Him in the hagio mountain [Mount of Olives]. We hold more firmly the prophetikon logon [word] to which you do well to pay attention as to a light shining in a murky place until that day breaks through [dawns] and the Phosphorus [Light-Bearer] is caused to arise in your hearts, knowing (first of all) that NO propheteia of Graphes [Scripture, Old Testament] came into being by self-interpretation. For never by the thelemati of man was propheteia borne but it was being borne by the Hagios Pneuma via Whom the hagioi men of Theos spoke.

Matthew 10.40: [Jesus speaking] He, receiving you, receives Me and he receiving Me receives the One sending out Me. He, receiving a propheten, in the name of a propheten will receive the wages of a propheten. And he, receiving a dikaion [equitable, just, right] one in the name of a dikaion one, will receive the wages of a dikaion one. And whoever furnishes drink to one of these mikron [small, little, tiny, micro] ones (merely a cup of cold water) in the name of a mathetou [learner, pupil, disciple], Amen! I say to you, not (in no way) will he utterly destroy his wages.”

End of Forty-fifth Lesson
