Lesson 47 Amplified – EUCHARISTIA

EUCHARISTIA

American: gratefully giving thanks

EUCHARISTEO

American: express gratitude, give thanks

EUCHARISTOS

American: grateful, thankful

There is only one appropriate state of mind for the resident of the Kingdom of God -- gratefulness. If we lose sight of the wondrous gift of Theos to us, we may develop negative attitudes.

Almost Greek: (Words in italics are translator’s additions.)

Romans 14.4: Who are you krinon [distinguishing, judging, putting on trial] another’s servant? To his own Kurio [Lord, Master], he stands or falls but he will stand for Theos is dunatos [forceful, powerful] enough to make him stand. Indeed, one krinei [judges] a day above another day; one krinei every day alike. Let each be completely convinced in his own nous [intellect, mind, understanding]; he observing the day, observes to the Kurio; he not observing, not observes to the Kurio. He eating meat, he eats to the Kurio; he eucharistei to Theos for the food. He not eating meat, not eats to the Kurio and eucharistei to Theos.

Colossians 1.9: Via this [From the day we heard], we also don’t pause [stop] proseuchomenoi [humbly begging, praying] to Theos over you and asking that you be made replete [complete] in recognition of His thelematos [determination, choice, decision, decree] in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. And that you be made to walk appropriately of the Kuriou, compliant to all in every good work; that you are being fertile and growing into the recognition of Theos in all dunamei [force, power], being empowered [enabled] down [according] to the great vigor of His glory to all a hupomonen [cheerful endurance] and makrothumian [forbearing, patiently restraining]; that you amidst joy eucharistountes [are gratefully giving thanks] to the Father to qualify us to the portion of the lot [as in drawing by lot] of the hagion [holy ones, sacred ones, consecrated ones, saints] in the Light. He Who rescued us emergent from the authority of shadiness and transferred us into the Kingdom of the Son of His agapes. He in Whom we have redemption via His blood; the freedom of [from] hamartion [misses of the mark or goal; errors, offenses, sins]. He Who is the eikon [image, likeness, statue, icon] of the invisible Theos, the firstborn of all creation because in Him all was created: the things in the ouranois [skys, heavens] and the things upon the earth; the seen [visible] and the invisible,

Colossians 3.12: Accordingly, dress yourself in the manner of the chosen of Theos: hagioi and egapemenoi [unconditionally loved], splen [spleen, guts, bowels, sympathy] of pity, chrestoteta [usefulness], humility, gentleness, forbearance; enduring one another and forgiving yourselves. In case anyone (toward any) has a complaint, just as (in fact) the Christos forgave you, so also should you. Above all these things, put on agapen which is the perfect bond. Let the peace of Theos rule in your hearts (to which indeed you were called in one somati [body]) and be eucharistoi. Let the Logos [Word] of the Christou [Anointed One, Messiah, Christ] copiously dwell in you, teaching and nouthetountes [calling attention to, warning, cautioning, admonishing] yourselves in psalmois [psalms], humnos [hymns] and pneumatikais odais [spiritual songs] in your hearts in chariti [thankfullness] to the Kurio. Everything, whatever you do in logos or in work, do all in the name [authority] of the Kuriou Jesus. Eucharistountes via Him to our Theos and Father.

Luke 22.14: And when the hour came, He reclined and the twelve mathetai [learners, pupils, disciples] reclined with Him. And He said to them, “With longing, I wanted to eat this Passover Meal amidst you before the time for Me to suffer for I say unto you that no longer (not in no way) will I eat emergent from it until (when) it is fulfilled in the Kingdom of Theos.” And receiving the cup [that was always set at the Passover Meal for the Messiah or Anointed One], euchariste [having expressed gratitude, having given thanks] to Theos, He said, “Take this and thoroughly divide it up among yourselves for I say to you that not (in no way) will I drink from the produce of the vine until (when) the Kingdom of Theos comes.” And receiving a loaf, euchariste to Theos, He broke it and gave to them, saying, “This is My soma [body] being given over you. Do this to My remembrance.” And in the same way the cup (amidst having dined), saying, “This cup is the New Covenant (in My blood) being poured out over you."

Ephesians 4: Now, the Hagios Pneuma distinctly says that (in later times) some will desist from the pisteos [faith], paying attention to vagrant pneumasi [spirits] and teachings of demons. In pseudologon [lying] hupokrisei [deceit, hypocrisy], having their conscience cauterized, they are barring marriage and advocating abstaining from foods which Theos made to participation amidst eucharistias by those pistois [faithful] and recognizing the truth. For every creation of Theos is kalon [beautiful, virtuous] and not even one thing is to be cast off. Having been received amidst euchariston, it is hagiazetai [made holy] via the Logou of Theos and enteuxis [supplication, prayer].
